Ji Mingyu’s heart raced uncontrollably, pounding wildly in his chest.

Xi Yue gripped her Lishui Sword tightly, suppressing the emotion that threatened to shake her. Slowly, she lifted her head.

At that moment, as the familiar face came into view, Xi Yue could no longer hold back. Tears welled up in her eyes, blurring her vision and distorting her sense of time and space.

It’s Nangong Yu!

It’s really Nangong Yu!

The man she had thought she had lost forever, the one she believed it would take an eternity to see again—the man who had sworn eternal vows with her, only to be torn away by death—was standing before her, alive.

It wasn’t an illusion, nor a dream. It was real—Nangong Yu, the man she loved with all her heart, standing before her!

Xi Yue blinked, tears streaming down her cheeks. Her lips parted softly as she whispered, “Nangong Yu, do you know… how long and hard I’ve waited for you?”

Her voice was so soft, barely more than a whisper.

Thus, the man walking up to her only heard “Nangong”.

The heart that had once been overwhelmed with pity for Xi Yue’s tears and sorrow was suddenly consumed by anger and jealousy.

Nangong… It’s that Nangong again?! This was the second time Ji Mingyu heard this name from Xi Yue!

Does she love “Nangong” so much?

[0] reached out, his cold fingertips grazing the girl’s delicate cheek. His calloused fingers gently wiped away the tears on her face, his touch impossibly tender, as if he cherished every moment. Yet the words that left his lips were icily cold, carrying a chill as if spoken by a demon from the depths of hell.

“I finally found you, Xi!”

“I told you. You belong to me. No matter where you run, you’ll always end up back by my side.”

The deep, magnetic voice carried a hint of chill, almost identical to Nangong Yu’s, yet it snapped Xi Yue out of her dazed, dreamlike state in an instant.

She took a step back almost instinctively and looked at the man in front of her in surprise, “You… you are?!”

A cold, sinister smile slowly curved on the man’s face—one that could bring any woman’s heart to its knees. His gaze, however, burned with an intense, fiery gleam, as if it were ablaze with an unquenchable flame.

“Xi’er, it’s only been a few months since we met at Biluo Peak. How could you forget it so soon?”

Xi Yue’s eyes widened in shock, her steps retreating instinctively. All the sadness and longing vanished from her mind, leaving only a sense of disbelief and horror. “Ji Mingyu!”

How could this be?! The man before her had the same face, the same figure, and the same voice as Nangong Yu. But… but he wasn’t Nangong Yu. He was Ji Mingyu, the twisted man from Biluo Peak who had tried to imprison her.

Ji Mingyu stepped forward, pulling her into his embrace with a firm grip around her waist. His voice was heavy with anger but also burned with intense longing and possessiveness. “Now that you’re back by my side, don’t even think about escaping again.”

There was an eerie silence surrounding the arena.

Everyone stood frozen, their eyes wide in disbelief as they stared at the two in the arena, unable to comprehend what they were seeing.

Aren’t you going to fight? Isn’t it a duel? What’s the situation now?

Why did 007 cry the moment he saw Zero? Why was the always cold, ruthless, and aloof god-like figure, [0], now holding him possessively around the waist with such overwhelming force?

Wait a minute, aren’t they both men?

Xi Yue’s shock and confusion at that moment were no less than the stunned reactions of the audience around her.
