2925 Apocalyptic Battle
RUMBLE!!!!!
The world shook as the battle between the Martial Sages and the beasts and monsters ravaged the very fabric of heaven and earth. The unfettered destructive power of the quasi-Transcendent beasts and monsters of the Beast Domain was, in particular, most responsible for the destruction that ensued.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!
The atmosphere and the lands boiled with heat as the sheer onslaught of their power dissipated across the entirety of the Central Highlands. The quasi-Transcendent monsters and beasts fought like their lives depended on it.
And it did.
Not just because the Martial Sages were there to exterminate the monsters of the Beast Domain, but also because they were still subject to the command of the Beast That Roared. They unveiled their terrible power, causing nothing short of an apocalypse to unfold on the battlefield.
The atmosphere was nearly unbreathable with the sheer destructive energy and heat that emerged from it, turning into an ocean of crackling plasma. The entirety of all land beneath them had been reduced to a sea of white-hot lava that blazed with heat.
And yet, the war continued as countless battles erupted across the entirety of the battlefield. Four particular battles stood out among all of them. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!
The moon golem shook as yet another wave of destruction washed over its enormous body. Damain unfurled a titanic tsunami of antimatter that allowed him to do great damage to the entirety of the Golem King’s body.
The surface of the Golem King’s body was ravaged with massive cracks and fissures, its entire body was completely molten, glaring a violently intense red hot luster. The heat and the destructive pulverization of the Golem King had caused the individual rocks an grains of gravel and sand in it to melt and fuse into a larger pieces of land.
Despite being rendered into a state that no ordinary organism could survive, the Golem King was greatly unperturbed by the damage that it appeared to have sustained. While other organisms would not be able to survive such lethal damage to their body due to effect it would have on their life-sustaining metabolism and physiological processes. The Golem King, however, didn’t have a metabolism. It was made out of rock.
And evidently, as long as it was in one piece, it didn’t matter what state the rocks comprising its gargantuan body were in.
It was one of the reasons that it was the most powerful defensive quasi-Transcendent lifeform there was. Not just because of its size and scale, but also because of the fact that not even a tremendous amount of damage could bring it closer to death.
Nothing short of complete destruction was needed to fell this monster.
Unfortunately for the creature, it had run into the one Martial Sage that was capable of imparting such destruction to it. A wildly murderous grin appeared on the Devil’s face.
“If I have to destroy you in one go, then I will.”
RUMBLE!!!!!
The entirety of the Golem King’s body began quaking involuntarily as Damian began gathering a tremendous amount of power to unleash an attack that was capable of sundering even the mighty Moon King.
Meanwhile, Bodhisattva Maitreyi clashed with shadowcrawler as the two forces of light and darkness flashed about the battlefield.
VMMMMM!!!!!
A maelstrom of light emerged from her, flashing its way to the faintly detectable shadow of the shadow crawler as she manipulated the very fabric of space to manipulate the trajectory of the beam of light to chase after the shadowcrawler.
And yet, it didn’t seem to matter.
The creature was intangible.
Not even the most powerful attacks seemed to be able to inflict any damage on it at all, making it functionally invincible. And yet, on the other hand, the creature seemed able to attack Bodhisattva Maitreyi through the very fabric of space.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!
She defended against the incoming attack that may as well have materialized on her with a calm disposition as she analyzed the situation and her opponent.
‘If it is able to attack with the fabric of space, then that most likely means that it can be attacked with space.’
Unfortunately, space manipulation was not strong suit, she only ever used it to manipulate her light with the principles of gravitational lensing. It meant that she was deeply incompatible against this particular beast and monster.
And yet, incompatibility was hardly an insurmountable impediment to the likes of a Transcendent candidate.
“All that there is in this world is light.”
Her tone was wise.
She unleashed a tremendous flood of light, concentrating a tremendous amount of energy into a very small amount of space. One of the properties of light was its virtually endless ability to intensify and concentrate due to its absence of mass.
It allowed her to concentrate an unfathomable amount of energy into the most minute of points, enhancing the energy density, tapping into one of the highest principles in Physics: General Relativity.
Matter and energy told space and time how to warp while space and time told matter how to move. With this principle, she could leverage her immense light power and manipulation to indirectly attack the monster. “Now, perish under the weight of my light.”
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!
Meanwhile, the Reverend of Reckoning had wrangled in a fearsome brawl with the Jormungandr.
Despite its absurd size, second only to the Moon King, it was as fast as lightning, covering an astronomical amount of distance with each passing second. Despite the fact that Martial Sages were far faster than even that, they still could not evade the sheer monstrous power of the young jormungandr due to how large its attacks were, spanning entire countries in its width.
And yet, its opponent was none other than Sage Jinryong Namgung.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!
Despite occupying an entire continent, he still moved early enough to avoid each attack from landing on him. The jormungandr hissed with a ferocious bloodlust as it launched itself over and over again, threatening to crush the Martial Sage.
And yet, not even this enormous tectonic-sized creature could so much as touch the Reverend of Reckoning.
