Chapter 1529: Impossible Foundation Building
Rowan’s bloodlines fed on his Origin Land, destroying it and consuming countless tonnes of earth, enough to build a hundred universes every year, and this was just the beginning.
Even though his dimensional flesh could withstand this amount of deterioration, that was only for the short term; not even a Primordial Domain could endure this sort of consumption for long.
As the strength and appetites of his bloodlines increased, his dimensional flesh and Origin Land would be destroyed; it was inevitable.
This would take a long time; perhaps multiple Major Eras might pass, but his Origin Land would inevitably be consumed to nothingness. But that would only happen if Rowan had the trait of destruction.
If Rowan controlled only Destruction, he could still cultivate despite the consumption of his bloodlines on his Origin Land, and he would reach the level of a Primordial.
With such a power level, he would push back the date of his end towards an extremely distant time that he could not even fathom. Nonetheless, his bloodlines would also reach the Primordial level alongside him, which would be his end at a particular moment.
Rowan had another equation in play that made this Fate that should have befallen him take a turn for something more beneficial.
The oceans of Ether and Essence flooding back into the nine mountains and the nine chasms surrounding Sheol was the other part of the equation that gave it balance, Creation, because as much as his bloodlines took from him, so did they equally give back to him.
His city exploded in a brilliant light, and the nine mountain ranges began to grow.
The light of the stars was previously hollow, all shell with no substance. The worlds within his city were beautiful, but they were simply ordinary. The only mysteries they contained were the uniqueness of their construction, which showcased Rowan’s sublime craftsmanship and the strength of their material.
Sheol was born from the Origin Land, which meant every grain of dust here was extremely tough, every drop of water was as heavy as a mountain, and even the air possessed a weight that would crush the lungs of giants. The least life form that could live here would have to maintain the power of a Minor God; nothing weaker would be able to survive.
All of this was due to the grace of Rowan who had built this city for life to thrive, outside of Sheol, it was difficult to imagine who would be strong enough to reach the nine mountain ranges that surrounded it, and if by chance they succeeded, would they be able to cross the nine oceans?
Sheol was made for the growth of his children because he wished that one day they would be strong enough to leave the boundary of his city.
A city so massive that lower immortals would deem it an infinite dimension, not the municipality Rowan had created it to be. He wanted them to surpass the mountains and cross the oceans; only then would they be able to reach his Origin Land and finally walk beside him, but before then, Sheol was still incomplete.
The only thing missing was a special life force that could fill this entire city and transform it into a place where immortals could live and thrive.
Once the fusion process began and Essence began to fill the mountains, the foundations of Sheol started to solidify, and the city’s toughness increased tremendously as unknown sublime runes appeared inside every atom.
Unless it were destroyed, nothing here would ever perish for the trait of endlessness from the Ouroboros had become one with it. Vraegar had been inside the Great Labyrinth, the Domain of Primordial Life, where even a grain of sand was an incomparable treasure, and now the same sort of transformation was happening with Sheol.
The only difference was that everything in the Great Labyrinth had a price because it was made of materials recognized by Reality. Still, Rowan’s city was priceless because it was unlike anything else.
Ether began filling the Chasms to birth the beginnings of an ocean, triggering a new change in Sheol as power finally fused with this city.
The sun’s light was no longer light; it began to radiate Ether, although in far less concentrated a dose than what was filling the chasms. In the center of each world or heavenly body in the city, consciousness began to bloom, as a potent source of life filled the space surrounding Sheol.
The power of Rowan’s bloodlines that had been dormant all these while, exploded in radiance and intensity as the strength of the Origin Ouroboros filled his muscles, their Essence powering his heart. Although he wanted it to beat, this sound would be so powerful that it would be heard all over reality.
The grace of Serathis filled his skin, and it felt as if nothing in existence could hold him bound. He could go anywhere and reach any place his heart desired, and the wisdom of Chronomancer Prime filled his mind. The speed of his thoughts exploded, and the mysteries bounding the past, present, and future were fully opened before him.
Even if Sheol was meant for his children, Rowan was still using it to express the powers of his bloodlines, and he was eager for its development.
As powerful as his Origin Bloodlines were, they could not radiate their might throughout his entire dimension, and they could only be concentrated on the nine mountains and nine oceans. Before gaining his Origin Land after his Ascension, his Primordial Essence and Aether had been enough to infuse every corner of his dimensional flesh; however, despite the incredible power of his Origin Bloodlines, they could not fill up more than five percent of the total area of Rowan’s Origin Land!
This did not mean that the benefits he had gained from them were small; it simply meant that his foundations were so massive that it would take his bloodlines reaching the ninth-dimensional level to command enough power to master the Origin Land.
Rowan’s position in the sixth-dimensional level, which was already incredibly substantial, became even more concentrated as the fusion with the fourth dimension of time became solid. The Origin Ouroboros blended their voices in the fusion of space, so his fifth dimension became a solid foundation. Chronomancer Prime became the source of Memory that firmly bound them all together.
His strength at the sixth-dimensional level, which had already reached incredible heights, began to shoot upwards with astonishing speed, and Rowan understood that this was just the beginning because something more amazing was also happening alongside his ascension.
