Chapter 1573: The Blood And The Flame
Moments before summoning Fate’s Origin.
Rowan’s consciousness inside Revah Endirius was barely a fraction of the consciousness power he controlled; it could not be helped.
The shell of Rowan consumed by this Magus might be powerful enough to break her bloodline shackles and bring her to the level of an Old One, granting her talents beyond her wildest dreams, but this shell was made when he was still a mortal and less evolved.
If the present state of Rowan’s consciousness was likened to Adamantite, then the consciousness inside the stone shell was less than a soft breeze in comparison, but it still came from him, and that made it incomparably precious.
Rowan could not do much with this weak consciousness power except observe and manipulate Revah’s soul when the time called for it, but what was important to him was that he could use this consciousness as a doorway to his primary consciousness.
Like a puppeteer controlling a puppet from afar, Rowan manipulated every event on the Supreme World of Magus from afar.

Rowan’s dimensional flesh and soul were at Booze Palace, the proposed center of Reality, and they watched the events unfold in the World of Mages according to their design.
Not too long ago, he had learned that Endirius was a Primordial Beast, and he was drastically changing his plans to fit this new situation.
Watching closely at everything that was happening, Rowan was waiting for the chance to strike.
As far as he could determine, Endirius had gathered the five parts of the First Flame close to him. One part was inside Jovah Endirius, a seventh star Archmage, and the last four were inside the Oracle. He repeatedly checked that these were all of the First Flames with his Will of Truth until he was satisfied that everything was following his Will.
His patience and careful planning were rewarded as the moment he had been waiting for arrived. Rowan did not even have to manipulate Revah to make this happen when he already laid all the groundwork. The surrounding mages sent an order for the arrest of Andar, and the ones who would dispense their Wills were the Flame Guards.
Only a situation like this that was warrant the might of the most extraordinary powers of the Realm would cause the Flame Guards to be dispatched.
As it happens, Jovah Endirius, the holder of a piece of the First Flame, was among their number. Rowan was sure that this poor girl was just bait created by the Primordial Beast to lure his prey closer to the net, but he did not care. If the Primordial Beast were safe in his invincibility, Rowan would not disabuse it of that notion.
This was a hit-and-run operation, meaning he could take certain risks without caring much about the repercussions.
He half expected that Endirius might hold back Revah from approaching Andar due to the changes in Reality, but as the Primordial Beast was stuck deciphering the means that Rowan had used to pour Primordial Essence into Reality, he had let this order go uncontested. This was also under Rowan’s consideration; he could not allow any part of this plan to fail and ensured that everything had a redundant point to buffer his schemes.
Rowan trusted Andar would deliver this flame to him. These Flame Guards were strong, but their strength was all borrowed, and a thousand of these Flamw Guards would not shake his son. Rowan immediately began his plans to snatch the Oracle under the Primordial Beast’s nose, using Revah’s soul as a medium.
The process was slightly cumbersome but was deemed necessary because of all the forces that Rowan could control; he believed that outside the Primordial of Soul, he was matchless in terms of manipulating the essence of souls. He had looked through Reality and could find no one near his capabilities.
If there were ever to be a single power outside the reach of this Primordial Beast, then it would be the power of the soul.
Only with this method was he assured that he would escape the gaze of the Primordial Beast long enough to succeed, as before, he did not care about the consequences; he only needed to steal the flames as quickly as possible.
Everything was going well until they didn’t.
The teleportation nodes and their nexus were fully completed. The most dangerous parts of this process were completed under Endirius’s nose, and what should have happened next was supposed to be the easy part as he activated the teleportation nodes. Then, the mages around him attacked Endirius and shattered the stability of the space around them, making teleportation all but impossible.
This was a great setback, but anyone looking at Rowan would not believe that it was so because he was breathing in relief, for he expected something much worse.
His eyes blazed scarlet, and the spatial power he had condensed with Revah’s soul underwent specific changes.
Even though it was impossible for ant teleportation to work, Rowan was able to do it, but the price for this action was that he could take only half of the First Flames.
Revah’s soul crumbled but was held together by the last of Rowan’s consciousness, which was far too durable to be easily destroyed. However, he could no longer easily see into the core of the Supreme Realm. His puppet had become a broken thing.
Rowan’s dimensional soul looked at him and nodded, “They took the bait. Now the true hunt can begin.”
“Yes, they did.” Rowan frowned, “strange, I was expecting more than this.”
His soul responded, “This is already good enough. We did not anticipate the presence of a Primordial Beast. Even now, I am struggling to place it inside a frame of control.” pointing at the table that held the Map of Reality, the dimensional soul sighed, “My Map is ruined, it is filled with holes that I may never fill.”
“Have fate,” Rowan dimensional flesh chuckled, “Great things have small beginnings, and soon your Map shall become complete. I will be glad to see that treasure unveiled in its full glory.”
The dimensional soul smiled and nodded, “Right, now let us find our prize.”
The dimensional flesh nodded, “Of course, it has been too long, and the weight of his gaze is like a noose on my neck, and I can no longer endure it.”
Beside him, the piece of First Flame taken from the body of Jovah Endirius appeared, and he observed it for a moment before placing it away. However, the other two stolen from the Oracle did not appear here.
They had been diverted to somewhere else.
