THE RISE OF THE BLACK PLAIN

Chapter 2897 Position of Eternal Death

Chapter 2897 Position of Eternal Death

In the ruins of the central area of Uzira's capital, people were slowly leaving their homes to watch the outcome of the confrontation.

The corpses of the local leaders were now laid out like trophies, marking every part of the area with a small story of what had just ended and a long journey completed for many there.

Meanwhile, high-level corpses, dressed in the damaged uniforms of their now decaying family, were positioned around the area, standing guard, their red eyes and disfigured faces indicating their reality: undead.

These were not Hell Lifelings. With his loss of the Infernal Crown, Minos could no longer call dead as perfect as Hell Lifelings. Those on the outskirts of the destruction caused by himself were just undead, creatures of high resistance, intelligent enough only to follow their master's orders.

In addition to the curious looking on from afar, the corpses scattered irregularly around the area and Minos' undead, several survivors, injured or intact, were kneeling in groups at different points in the surroundings,

Eyes turned to the ground and weeping grunts could be heard among these survivors, none of them bold enough to show the confidence characteristic of royalty and nobility.

Amid this situation, Minos was underground in one of the ruins in the area, where a group of locals were doing as he had ordered, carrying his message to the Hell. Minos was facing the entrance platform to the Hell, but he didn't dare enter the dimension. He stayed where he was, leaving the family members, minions of Eternal Death, to carry on with the message he had forced them to pass on to that woman. Hopefully, she would be bold enough to come to the capital quickly so that they could end this war.

Minos watched the last of those Eternal Death minions leave, while he tried to predict the next developments in their situation.

While those left behind waited in fear, watching his eyes glow a menacing gold, Minos saw hazy scenes of the future, seeing a confrontation, but not those involved in the battle. That was all he could see, feeling the interference of trying to predict the fate of someone intimately connected and currently located in the Hell.

'I can't see what's going to happen.... I'll have to wait for her to come out of Hell before I know for sure how things will develop. He sighed as he returned his attention to the present time, having already done everything he could to help the rebel cause.

Now he could only wait for his actions to take effect.

Turning his back on the spatial distortion that led to Hell, Minos walked back to the surface, making Eternal Death's minions follow him as if they were now his minions. "Senior..." A dusty woman, rather sweaty and disheveled, muttered in doubt.

Minos foresaw what she would ask and answered her doubt before she even voiced it. "I will stay in your city until the rebels reach the area. They will take over the kingdom and become the new local leaders."

The woman swallowed her saliva in horror, feeling that, in addition to all the power Minos had already demonstrated, he could still read her mind!

Minos laughed subtly at the local woman's confusion, but said nothing to the idea that they might have of him. He continued, "It won't be long before they reach the area. But in the meantime, deal with the destruction and organize the city. There's no need for the population to live in chaos or suffer from the changing times."

"Certainly, senior," said a man as he ran away from Minos so that he could both fulfill his wishes and get away from this dangerous being.

The frightened woman asked, "Aren't you going to rule us, senior? Why give the continent to someone like Mylecent if it can be yours?"

That was a sensitive question to have.

Minos had already foreseen his future with Mylecent and said, "And who says I won't have the continent? Whoever has the leader of the continent as their own is naturally the leader of the continent."

The woman's eyes widened, not expecting that Mylecent had actually been subjugated by this senior.

What this level 124 woman didn't know was that Minos and Mylecent's relationship was in the future and not in the present or past, as she had imagined in this short conversation.

"Anyway, bring order to the city. I'll meditate until my women arrive in the city with the rebels." Minos moved immediately after saying his words, disappearing from sight and becoming unreachable for those who had accompanied him in the aftermath of the battle.

That woman, the undead and the others who remained conscious around him, rushed to carry out his orders without delay. Internally, they wanted Eternal Death to fight Minos to determine the winner of the war once and for all. But as long as she wasn't there, they wouldn't hesitate to obey him!

Minos knew exactly what would happen in the coming days. As such, he let his own surviving enemies take care of things in the city, certain that he would see neither Eternal Death nor Mylecent before Abby, Gloria and Ruth's group arrived in the area with the main rebel leaders.

Meanwhile, in the Hell, the competition for Abby's former domains was intense, with many high level Devil battles having already taken place in the main areas left by Abby. But not only the strongest in the Hell were vying for these territories left to whoever wanted to claim them. The subordinates of the main Devils, as well as smaller, independent Devils were moving into the less attractive areas, but still too good to ignore.

Among these smaller Devils looking for chances to strengthen themselves was Eternal Death, currently moving outside her territory to expand her area of influence. She was alongside a group of subordinates, guardians and undead, far from the central area of her territory, from where her companions could reach her.

But even far from her domain, Eternal Death could sense the arrival of some of her minions in the Hell, beings who should be in Uzira looking after her interests.

"How strange." She commented to her group.

"What is it, Your Excellency?" An old man of level 125 asked.

"Something must have happened in Uzira. A group has just come from there to Hell" She commented as she stopped and looked in the direction of his domain.

"Is it Mylecent?"

"Impossible, Mylecent is trying to reach level 126 before our next fight." Said another Eternal Death subordinate as he answered the level 124 man's question.

"Should we go back?"

Eternal Death answered for herself, "No. I'm close to reaching level 127. We can't miss

this opportunity because of problems on the continent. Let's keep going until I advance! By then, not only will I be able to deal with all those nuisances on the continent, but I'll be sitting at the table of the Hell's leaders!"
