The rise of the pervert primordial

Chapter 691 - 691: An interesting reward

While the lightning from above that hit the four enemies, descended so fast that they didn’t have the chance to scream before they were drown in it, it lasted enough to draw the attention of practically everyone within the observation area.

“W-What the hell, how can a Mortal Transcending realm cultivator control so much of an element in a single go!”, exclaimed the representative male elder from the Poison Marsh Domain.

As a poison centered force, they had to be wary of anything with strong yang energy which is incredibly effective to deal with poison, such as fire, light and of course lightning, so he was immediately thrown off after seeing the huge lightning brought down by Sarina.

“Forget about that, she had three damn attributes, why the hell do we have no intel on such a person”, added the female representative from the Pleasure Palace.

There is going to be a tournament to decide which among the top three middle ranked Stellar Systems will be promoted to a high grade one, upheld at each of the four Heavenly Quadrants in the near future.

And it’s not something that is limited to the youngest generation exclusively, a certain number of participants from each realm and specific position of the sects and forces involved will participate, and the elder from the Pleasure Palace couldn’t think on a Mortal Transcending realm guest elder that would have a chance against that blond woman.

In other words, that’s a losing match on their end right there, and it got worse, apparently most of the women flocking around the Lord of the Twin Sword Valley, that weren’t disciples, were guest elders, so if things remained the same, they will be getting utterly crushed in that aspect of the tournament.

But enough of future problems, right now they had something to deal with and that is the fact that the lightning finally stopped pouring down, the result of it was that four charred corpses turned into ashes under the eyes of all the ones observing the fight.

All this while that terrifying blond woman calmly remained floating there, with arcs of yellow electricity still crackling around her.

“Phew”, Sarina beckoned to retrieve the shards of her belt which were used to channel her lightning earlier to then take a deep breath, for a moment there she felt a slight wild impulse taking over for a second, which is why she went a bit overboard with the amount of lightning she used.

She was only going to use ten shards for her attack, since that allows her to use half of the offensive power she can pull off with the belt for each of her attributes, but at the last second “she” went all out.

It’s normal, lightning is the element she has less control on as it is her newest attribute, also she normally can only use it with her wings out, but after the little training session she had with Aster at her last date, she learned that she can use it without them as long as that is the only attribute she is using at the time.

‘So, using only lightning past a certain point stimulates my lineage, it might be a problem if I don’t learn how to control its fierceness, like my wind and flames…’, thought Sarina only for a teasing familiar voice to reach her ears the next second.

‘Now, is my Sarina trying to make little Kana fear for when misbehaving?’, jokingly said Aster, referring to the way the blond motherly woman “punished” those guys with lightning.

Which made Sarina’s mood brighten, she giggled for a moment before she put her worries at the back of her mind, as she was reminded of a simple fact, Aster could reign in even the living calamity known as “Dragon Lilia” so she is sure that he’ll be able to handle her lineage impulses as well.

‘Humph, of course I have to be a bit strict with that little girl since a certain someone keeps spoiling her’, she said following the play, that being said, currents of wind gathered around Sarina as she vanished from plain view to then appear next to Aster.

Seeing Sarina who was pouting over his previous comment Aster chuckled, she naturally wanted to be complimented like he did with the others, and instead the first thing he did after she finished her fight was tease her.

One thing that both Sarina and Kana had in common is that the two of them loved being spoiled by Aster, the difference being that Kana will openly ask and seek for it to happen, while Sarina is a bit more “reserved” in that aspect, it’s cute to see someone that is quite fierce being so shy when it comes to this kind of stuff.

“Now don’t be like that, I tell you what, if you make lightning attribute your main focus for the rest of the mission, I’ll give you a nice “gift” later”, said Aster, his words like the whispers of a devil tempted Sarina making her eyes sparkle.

Of course, Aster didn’t forget to strike while the iron was hot, turning into a flash that appeared behind Sarina to then hug her from behind, placing his hands on her belly.

“Of course, if you want a little “reward” in advance, I’m sure we can make some time for some fun”, whispered Aster, making Sarina’s face explode in a reddish tone.

Fun fact, one of the things that made Sarina be the one to extend a helping hand to Camila now that she decided to sleep in Aster’s room, was that she also had a bit of a hard time when it came to public displays of affection.

Of course Aster isn’t one to do anything inappropriate to his girls for others to see, a little hug here a small peck there, that’s all there is to it, like right now, but let’s not forget that Aster is Sarina’s first love and while that also applies the other girls, Sarina isn’t as wild as Lilia or Alice and while she shares that aspect with Aria, the ice princess is used to it after spending three years being embarrassed by Aster suddenly hugging or kissing her out of nowhere.

“I-I’ll go check on Kana, join us when you can husband~”, said Sarina in a mix of shy and happy tones as she escaped from Aster’s “claws” to then kiss his right cheek before turning into a bright yellow electricity flash, though she didn’t openly accept it, she was already working on obtaining that reward.

‘How cute’, amusingly thought Aster, only for him to hear a certain little wyrm complain from within the beast emblem at the back of his hand.

‘Hisssss!’, apparently the little wyrm was unconvinced because she was the only one that met the requirements but didn’t get to fight and thus, she wasn’t going to be praised by Aster.

‘Sorry, sorry, I promise this will be the last time you’ll have to stay put, so be good, okay?’, said Aster as he looked into the mind space to then place his right palm on top of the backside of his left hand.

He sent a blood candy to the beast space, which the little wyrm immediately gobbled up to then let out cute happy sounds.

“Hisss~”.

“You and Kana surely are little gluttons, I’ll give you more later, but now…”, Aster changed his focus to the observation area because the representatives of all the present forces, allies, neutral and enemy ones were gathering at the same part of the observation area.

The previous included Wade who seemed more interested in the battlefield than on his younger brother’s condition, and the one from the Mountain Amber who should have been caring about Bradley, as well as the two female elders from the Blazeheart who didn’t want to see Aster ever again if possible.

Even Fawn who was accompanied by the chubby man who was hired to protect her, came to take a peek, she kept some distance from the main group of the Mountain Amber family though.

And judging by her calm expression when compared to the bloodthirst he felt from the other group of the Mountain Amber, she didn’t send anyone from her side to deal with him.

Anyway, the reason as to why everyone was gathering is because the main distortion was finally about to open, and though at this point only Aster remained in its vicinity, the curiosity was killing them.

The things that came out of the minor and secondary distortions went from completely unknown resources and corpses of spirit beasts of races they had never seen or head about before, to some really rare known ones, the grades varied but nothing below the Stellar grade appeared.

So, the expectation to see what will come out of the main distortion, was insane, most believed that an Immortal grade thing will pop out of it, in which case they were already preparing to try and snatch it away, in case the area of interference that prevented anyone above the Genesis Manifestation also disappeared.

At least until they felt the chilling glare of William and Valentine falling on them.

“Since the Lord of the Twin Sword Valley rightfully defeated all those that competed with him over that distortion, anyone that tries to do something “funny” will be executed by me”, casually said William.

Like Lilia explained earlier, as hypocritical as it sounded having a “reason” was important when it came to killing for the upper layers of the first-tier forces and the ruler families as well, and now William had one so he could kill anyone that tried to pull a fast one without having to worry about retaliation in the open at least.

“And in case you think numbers will be enough for you to stall for time and get to him, the Supreme Elder of the Battle Peak of our sect is here”, added Valentina as she pointed upwards at a jade palanquin which was silently floating above the crowd.

And apparently the crowd was afraid of the one inside the palanquin, because their desire immediately died the moment they saw it, now only the representatives of certain forces remained stubbornly looking for a way to get whatever came out of the distortion, but they were afraid of William and Valentina instead.

‘Heh, so the Supreme Elder of the battle peak specializes in dealing with large amounts of enemies, that reminds me that I have yet to know anything about both the woman in the palanquin and also the acting Ancestor of the battle peak, is it someone you know, mom?’, asked Aster to Lilia who seemed to be making memory for a moment.

‘Mmm, someone does come to mind for the latter but she couldn’t come down to a middle ranked Stellar System with such easiness, after all she should be a Heavenly Manifestation realm cultivator now, as for the woman in the palanquin I don’t recognize her either, though she has a familiar vibe, it’s rather strange, if you really want to know just ask William, if he refuses to speak I can beat him up until he does~’, cutely said Lilia, which made William feel a chill running down his spine.

Aster raised an eyebrow in response, that is the realm previous to the Heavenly Conqueror one, even Lilia and his two godmothers were and are “only” Heavenly Transformation realm cultivators respectively, as they are a part of the young generation.

The gap and required time and resources to advance at the heavenly realms is way larger than any of the previous realms, so it’s normal for ages to start getting to the five-digit mark past the initial realm of the heavenly ones.

In any case, with the mob and the few troublesome individuals under control, Aster casually sat down cross-legged on the sky, to wait for the distortion to appear, he even took out a little snack that Sarina had prepared for him before all this started.

“That psycho bastard, he killed so many of our people and is now munching on some snacks in the battlefield…”, one of the female elders from the Blazeheart nearly lost it on the spot, all the promising members of the young generation from her family branch were killed in the fight earlier.

That being said, she was glared into oblivion by Valentina, whose eyes were sparkling at the sight of that black haired youth who had suppressed the whole battlefield with a small group of people.

‘I’m already looking forward to how he’ll fair once we jump onto the high ranked Stellar System’s stage, perhaps he’ll be able to…’, Valetina looked at Agnes and at herself for a second before she lost herself in her thoughts, at least until she felt the spirit energy in the vicinity tremble.

Aster got up and then looked upwards, the main distortion finally gained some stability before it stopped radiating spirit energy, unfortunately for those that were trying to look for a way to obtain some benefits, the interference area not only didn’t disappear but it actually got stronger.

“Aghhh!”, a Genesis Manifestation realm cultivator who was too close to the area of interference suddenly screamed as he was sent flying backwards, in fact all those let alone at the Genesis Manifestation but even Sea of Knowledge and Mortal Transcending realm cultivators all felt a sensation of suppression weighting them down.

They were experiencing what the Void Manipulation and above present people have been feeling all this time, of course some could endure it better than others, in fact there was a group that showed zero reaction to the sudden increase in the suppression produced by the distortion.

‘Damn it!’, cursed the Redheart, Pleasure Palace and Marsh Domain elders and representatives in unison as they saw Sarina and the others not even batting an eye at the sudden change, their eyes were locked not even on the distortion but on the Lord of the Twin Sword Valley.

Speaking of Aster, he felt a curious sensation running through his body the moment the main distortion stopped stabilizing itself, he… was being scanned, and that normally would trigger that aggressive dragon lineage of his, but surprisingly this “invasion” wasn’t deemed hostile in the slightest and Rya also remained silent about it, so he didn’t resist and simply stood there.

After a couple of seconds that seemed like years for those in the observation area, the ominous darkness at the center of the main distortion, dispersed to reveal a giant… gate?

Aster frowned, out of all the things that he was expecting, a gate wasn’t in the list, especially one that looked so ordinary, it was a black metal gate without any patterns or engravings, had it not been for the giant keyhole at its right middle side, one would mistake it as a simple plank of metal.

‘I can’t feel any spirit energy coming from that thing but then… why are my dragon eyes not able to see through it?’, thought Aster.

Even if limited he has seen through some Immortal rank treasures with his dragon eyes before, like Nerissa’s manual for example, this is the first time he quite literally got nothing out of it, well to be more accurate this also happened when he inspected things that had no spirit energy on them, like rocks or soil on barren planets were cultivators were basically non-existent.

However, he could see through those things what happened is that there was nothing to notice about them, while in this case he couldn’t see through that gate, and there was no way his dragon eyes were blocked by a simple metal gate, on the other hand Aster surely expected the gate to not be the reward for his efforts though.

“Hahaha, now that’s a really well-deserved reward for the Myriad Occupation sect!”, shouted the elder from the Marsh Domain, to which the female representative from the Pleasure Palace added.

“Well, they can use it at the main entrance of their Central City…”, their mocking words were interrupted by the giant gate trembling for a moment before a silver liquid seeped out of it, to then form a few sentences.

[Area qualifications verified, the victor will be granted the level three authority, the “Eastern Key” will be rewarded, make your choice within the next 36 hours, please be aware that if the holder of the key suffers any harm, the gate will dissipate]

The message appeared and disappeared in a matter of seconds, then that silver liquid all condensed into a small metal bead that flew towards Aster, transforming itself into a hand sized metal tabled which had an interesting list of four options.

Namely, they were Earthly realms, Mortal Transcending realm, Sea of Knowledge realm and last but not least, Genesis Manifestation realm, and just by touching it Aster knew what the tablet was meant for, it was to decide what was going to be the limit for the people that will be allowed to cross once he opens the door with it.

“Pfft!”, Aster couldn’t help but laugh out loud, which made a bad premonition appear in a lot of the present people’s hearts.

“It seems like “some” people are going to have to sell their Central Cities”, mockingly said Aster.

“What the hell does that mean, are you threatening us!”, shouted the elder from the Marsh Domain, to which Aster smirked.

“Why should I, from this moment onwards you all are really important “clients” of mine, as in I want to see how much are you willing to pay so that your Transcending realm cultivators are able to cross that door”, he said.

“…”, it took all the present people a couple of seconds to understand what Aster was saying and then the reaction was naturally, public indignation.

“What!”, unfortunately for them, Aster cut their tantrum with a few words.

“Or you can send only your disciples… with me”, he said with a cold smile, which made the elders and representatives grit their teeth, as that would be the same as sending them to their deaths, after all among those below the Transcending realm, there was no one on their side as of current that could taken on Aster, they understood that very well at this point.

“Humph, why don’t we simply get of you and get this farse to end?”, said a certain elder from the Hunter family, to which Aster shook his head in response.

“Well, you can think that way because your loses were minimal, but how about all those that majorly screwed up and their asses are on fire as of current, they need something to make up for it and that could be behind that gate…”, casually said Aster to then add.

“And now, I feel like not seeing any member of the Hunter family in this city anymore, if my mood dampens I might “accidentally” press the wrong choice out of nowhere”.

The representative from the Hunter family, suddenly felt a hundred bloodthirsty gazes lock on him, the Ocean Aquamarine, Mountain Amber, Supreme Elemental sect and even the Redheart, Pleasure Palace and Marsh Domain sect, all were eyeing their group now.

‘Don’t tell me!’, the representative from the Hunter family turned to see Aster, just to see a smirk appear on his face.

“D-Don’t fall for his tricks, who knows if there will be anything good behind that gate!”, he exclaimed, to which Wave nodded before saying.

“You are right and for that same reason, the Hunter family wouldn’t have any problem leaving right now, right?”, Wade’s voice became dangerous at the last part, as in if the other party didn’t comply, they will actually attack them on the spot.

‘Crazy, they are crazy!’, thought the Hunter representative, unfortunately he was unaware of something very simple, all the present forces and families were being blinded by greed.

It wasn’t their fault though, just look at the resources others got from the minor distortions, whatever was behind that gate will for sure lead to an even bigger treasure trove and everyone wanted a piece of it.

Also, while they hated Aster from the bottom of their hearts, they weren’t being outright denied a “chance”, so there wasn’t any reason to try and risk their lives by fighting William and Valentina if negotiating was possible.

Seeing the tense atmosphere, the Hunter Representative clenched his hands, but he ultimately had no option but to comply, their family wasn’t native of the Sun Sprite Heavenly Quadrant to begin with, so they were pretty much a second-tier force in terms of influence here, one main branch from the Fey will be enough to kill them all and there won’t even be anything left to investigate.

“I’ll remember this Lord of the Twin Sword Valley”, said the elder as he left with his group in disgrace, they wouldn’t be safe in the temporary city anymore, so they literally had to leave this planetoid.

“Well now that they are out of the way, let me tell you my conditions, you have 24 hours to join hands and reach a sum you think will be enough to convince me, if you need a reference ask the Blazeheart how big is my appetite”, said Aster as he descended from the sky.

After how he dealt with the Hunter family, no one dared to block Aster’s way, after all besides the big three forces present, anyone could be expulsed on a whim with just a few words.

“Ah right, you only have one chance to make a good offer, so don’t even try to be stingy, I’ll wait for your good news, let’s go ladies”, happily said Aster as he left to the temporary city accompanied by Lilia and the others who were all smiles right now, Valentina and basically all the disciples included.

Leaving behind a William who felt a headache incoming, as he was going to be busy considering all the gazes from those in good terms with them, coming his way.

‘Ahhh damn it!’, he screamed in his heart as he was swarmed by representatives that wanted him to put a good word for Aster so that they didn’t have to pay as much as others.

Wade and those that obviously knew Aster was going to bleed them, didn’t even bother on that, they instead all designated messengers and made them depart on the spot, at this point a temporary line of short distance communication talismans connected for long distance communication, should have been stablished by those in positions of power, and they needed to report this situation.
