THE STRONGEST WAR GOD

Chapter 1565: Changes in the Neal Family

Chapter 1565: Changes in the Neal Family

“So what if he’s dead? Who’s still alive?” The King Lord walked out of the wooden house and looked at the familiar scene outside.

He couldn’t help but take a deep breath, full of nostalgia.

Wortham Kerns lowered his head. “Old friend. I thought you were the only one alive. I didn’t expect…”

“Are they all dead?” The King Lord said calmly, his fists clenched tightly.

Braydon Neal had a doubt in his heart!

The master of this island, the five masters of the past, and the King Lord were all powerful beings who stood at the pinnacle of the universe.

Why did they still fall in the end?

What kind of dangers lurked in the vast universe?

Braydon did not ask.

Even if he did, the King Lord might not be willing to tell him.

He might as well not ask!

The King Lord stood outside for a long time.

He looked at the many saint beasts and suddenly turned to Braydon.

“Where is the nest of that Old Bright scourge?” he asked. “I’ll go and destroy his lair!”

“In the endless void, the golden horn azure dragon was carrying him and drifting aimlessly,” Braydon’s lips twitched.

He seemed to understand why the Bright Lord Manor was on the back of the golden horn azure dragon and why it was hiding in the endless void.

This was clearly to guard against the King Lord and the others.

Both of them were dead, but the remnant thoughts left behind were still plotting to destroy each other’s nest.

What a huge grudge!

Seeing that Braydon was like an idiot who couldn’t remember anything from the past, the King Lord lost interest and stepped into the endless void, planning to destroy the Bright Lord Manor.

“King Lord!” Wortham couldn’t help but say.

“Don’t worry about me. When the time comes, I’ll return!”

The King Lord left behind a statement, asserting that when the time was right, he would return!

Even if he perished in the River of Time, he had a means to return.

“I should go too!” Braydon declared.

“I’ll accompany Master!” Wortham insisted.

Braydon shook his head lightly.

With such a super expert by his side, there was no need to discuss life and death trials.

In less than three years, he would develop an instinctive reliance.

For cultivators, losing a sense of danger could be fatal.

The sense of danger provided pressure and could even serve as motivation to continuously improve one’s cultivation.

Before Braydon departed, he asked Wortham for a favor: to watch over Earth’s safety should they face grave peril in the future.

Wortham naturally agreed to this request.

Braydon left the island and punched through space, creating a tunnel that led him to Preston.

Just as he returned…

“Dad!” Trevon Neal sensed his presence.

“You’re all grown up!” Braydon marveled.

Braydon vaguely recalled that Trevon was just a child back then.

Now, in the blink of an eye, he had become a teenager.

Trevon shared a strong resemblance with Braydon in their brows, and their personalities were strikingly similar.

He had not only inherited Braydon’s talent but also his intelligence.

“Daddy!” a spirited girl ran over from afar.

It was Judith Neal!

Trevon had a quiet personality and had always been serious since he was young.

As for Judith, she had been lively and active from a young age, and as she grew up, she became even more eccentric.

“You’re back,” Heather Sage said softly. “Get ready to eat.”

“Okay!” Braydon replied.

Braydon walked toward his wife and suddenly said, “I’ve seen the Bright Lord and the King Lord!”

“Oh!” Heather’s jade-like hands trembled slightly.

It was an unusual reaction.

“The Bright Ming mentioned you to me!” Braydon teased.

“You’re such a tease!” Heather rolled her eyes.

Braydon was clearly teasing her.

But then again, who among the elites of the Northern Army didn’t have a bit of mischief in their hearts?

If there was an exception, it would be Luke Yates!

“Those scoundrels didn’t dare to provoke me when they were alive,” Heather said softly. “They’ve been dead for so many years. How dare they mention me?”

“You knew them back then?” Braydon asked curiously.

Heather stopped in her tracks.

Her clear eyes locked onto Braydon’s.

“Just ask what you want to ask. Don’t beat around the bush to trick me. Little Braydon, your heart is tricky, but mine is not!”

“Ahem!” Braydon’s face reddened.

“My soul imprint is broken?” Braydon asked.

“Yes,” Heather nodded lightly.

Braydon accepted it calmly.

He didn’t expect much from the soul imprint.

Even if it was useless, it wouldn’t affect his life.

He only wanted to uncover some aspects of his past life.

Since this was the outcome, there was no need to push further.

Heather entered the kitchen and said, “Let’s eat. Judith, go and call Grandpa and Grandma for dinner. Tell them that Daddy is back!”

“Alright!” Judith skipped three steps at a time to invite her grandparents over for dinner.

Heather explained that Louis Neal and Laura Quinn had moved out.

The Neal family didn’t have many children in the huge manor, and the two elders felt it was too empty, so they moved out.

Liam Neal and his family relocated to the capital.

Last year, Liam and Qahira Sage even had a son.

With spirit herbs to nourish their bodies, they safely gave birth to offspring even at an old age.

Braydon didn’t inform anyone of his return and stayed in the manor for half a month.

“I want to go to the Spirit Sea!” Trevon said to her father.

“You want to go out and explore?” Braydon looked at the youngster who had grown into a young man.

Trevon nodded seriously. “Back then, when you were young, you took over as leader of the Northern Army. Your achievements were unmatched. Now that the four seas are peaceful and many countries come to pay tribute, I want to cultivate in the Spirit Sea. There, I can find suitable opponents!”

“When you reach adulthood,” Braydon maintained his stance as before.

Everything could wait until Trevon came of age.

“If Trevon wants to go out, let him go and have a look,” Heather said softly as she approached.

“Dad, look, Mom has agreed to let me go out!” Trevon said excitedly.

Braydon glanced at his wife and said softly, “My original intention was for Trevon to grow up under your care. If he goes out, knowing his personality, I’m afraid he won’t return home for years!”

No one understood their son better than his father.

Braydon saw a reflection of his own youth in his son.

Trevon was eager for the young eagle to spread its wings and leave the nest.

Once he departed, fueled by his determination, he would forge ahead and seldom look back.

The family might inevitably drift apart then!

Heather’s eyes brimmed with helplessness.

“A son’s will is beyond a mother’s control. Trevon’s heart isn’t here. It might be best to let him venture out and see for himself.”

“Mom, I want to go to the Spirit Sea with Trevon too!” Judith chimed in, unwilling to be left behind and immediately proposing to accompany her brother.

The siblings had never been apart.

They grew up together, with the older brother always shielding the younger sister.

Now that Trevon wished to journey to the Spirit Sea, Judith wanted to persuade her brother to take her along.

One could easily envision the scene.

“You’re not going!” Braydon firmly refused.

“Why not? If Trevon can go, why can’t I? You’re being unfair!” Judith’s eyes reddened, tears threatening to spill.

“Crying won’t help,” Heather interjected calmly.

“Hmph, I’m not talking to you anymore!” Judith huffed, feeling deeply aggrieved.

“Braydon!” An elderly voice suddenly interrupted. “There’s been a development in the Spirit Sea!”
