Wen Ding arrived in front of Xuan Li in the blink of an eye and struck her with a fierce punch. The faint sound of a fierce roar could barely be heard as an explosion occurred in the sky.

"It's useless!" Wen Woo spat and the cultivation essence flowed out at an incredible speed, with his aura forming a barrier and wanting to suppress Xuan Li.

Xuan Li frowned and her cultivation essence flowed out at a speed no less fast than Wen Woo's. The cultivation essence poured into the spiritual weapon, adding more weight and power to the halberd before striking.

Wen Woo went flying several meters away before stopping and a line of blood escaped from the corner of his mouth, shocked to see that he was unable to resist this girl's attack!

Suddenly, a giant golden palm suddenly materialized in the sky, covering several meters of space and fell straight towards Xuan Li.

Xuan Li gritted her teeth, poured her cultivation essence into the halberd and faced Wen Ding. The soul spiritual force was intensely injected into the defensive artifact, arduously resisting the golden lion's projection.

Xuan Li also watched as Wen Ding seemed to expand in all directions, as if he became a giant in a few seconds and his body surrounded her as he expanded, encompassing much of the sky. A sword had appeared in his hand, becoming large as well as it tried to fall on her.

Everything seemed to become bigger, covering the sky and the earth, expanding to all sides.

Only Xuan Li's body remained intact, unchanged in some way. But what surprised Xuan Li most was that none of them seemed to notice, as if time had truly stopped before her eyes.

lightsΝοvel Xuan Li's eyes scanned in all directions quickly, although she too could not move because the speed of time seemed to affect her as well and she could only see the incoming attacks towards her, Xuan Li quickly noticed that there seemed to be several free spaces to move into to escape the attacks. Even Wen Ding's sloppy spaces appeared and were marked before her eyes, as if indicating to her that in those spaces she could move and also strike to cause a serious injury by counterattacking.

Likewise, Xuan Li felt that if she attacked, her attack would totally fall to Wen Ding even if she attacked in another direction. A strange and mysterious feeling.

Feeling the strength of her grip on the halberd, Xuan Li gritted her teeth when she was ready to move. She could somehow sense when to get rid of this feeling of slowing time to return to real time, as long as she concentrated on the connection with the halberd in her hands.

Xuan Li's figure seemed to teleport as she suddenly appeared at Wen Ding's side while the latter's sword had strangely swerved to the side. The halberd swung, increased force and momentum and slashed hard at Wen Ding's shoulder, nearly severing his entire arm as the halberd easily pierced through his defenses along with skin and muscle, slashing through much of his bone.

The golden lion figure finally destroyed the protective flower image before pouncing on Xuan Li.

But when Xuan Li was ready to dodge and perform the same technique again to defend herself, her consciousness ached as if a blade was slowly piercing her head and her body became heavy, falling and impacting the ground. Xuan Li even had difficulty breathing. Her consciousness sea hurt horribly.

In the few seconds that seemed like an eternity and a fleeting moment instantly, Xuan Li realized that her consciousness sea had dried up and her cultivation essence had completely depleted.
