Villain Ch 1603. Ten Minutes of Heaven

Allen didn’t turn at first. Just stood there, cloak fluttering behind him in the after-storm wind. A monarch in stillness, a devil at rest.

“Great,” he finally said, voice casual. “If you understand.”

Then he moved. Just a small step. Then another.

He stood beside her, looking down at her Lust avatar—the tight-leather dominance, the sultry curves, the confident stance she always defaulted to. But beneath it, it was still her. Still Emma.

And he did something she didn’t expect.

He reached out… And patted her head.

Not in jest. Not to tease. Just…

Soft.

Warm.

A quiet “I saw you” kind of gesture.

“You did a good job today,” Allen said, smiling.

A real smile. Not the devil’s grin. Not the boss smirk.

Just a brother’s smile.

Emma blinked. Her cheeks flared hot.

She stared at the floor between them. Glanced to the side with a sudden pout. Her voice dropped a little, lower than usual.

“…I know you’re just trying to cheer me up,” she muttered. “I couldn’t even beat Azura.”

Allen huffed and dropped his hand, letting it brush gently off the top of her hair.

“I know,” he said without hesitation. “But Azura’s a pro, like me. You’re usually handling the dev tools, the balance tweaks, the code reviews. It’s a different world.”

Emma frowned deeper, still flustered. “…Still.”

Allen nudged her arm with his elbow, lightly. “Hey. You didn’t die.”

She squinted at him. “Because you saved me.”

“Yeah,” Allen shrugged, turning slightly. “But you didn’t die.”

Emma was quiet for a long second.

That hit different.

It wasn’t just praise—it was acknowledgment. That he’d been watching. That he cared.

She lowered her head, mouth moving slightly, like she was testing words before saying them aloud.

“…I’m happy.”

Allen raised an eyebrow but didn’t press her.

And then she moved.

Quick, sudden.

She stepped into him and wrapped her arms around his waist, pressing her cheek into his chestplate, where the demonic engraving of his armor was still warm from the battle.

He stiffened—just for a second. But then sighed and let one arm rest gently over her shoulders.

Not the throne. Not the game.

Just the two of them.

Family.

“I’m glad you’re here,” Allen said quietly.

“Shut up,” she mumbled, face still buried.

“Awwww,” Jane cooed. “Look at that. The Devil Emperor has a heart.”

Emma immediately stepped back, flustered again, trying to hold on to her Lust persona like it wasn’t cracking into mush.

“Oh, shush,” she snapped.

Jane walked in with her dramatic cape trailing behind her, like she was entering a gothic opera instead of a post-raid debrief. She clasped her hands together over her heart, eyes gleaming with theatrical glee as she came to a stop beside Emma and Allen.

“So cute~” she sighed, tone dripping with sugar and scandal. “A forbidden sibling bond under the blood moon. Tragedy, love, danger… mmh, delicious.”

Emma flinched, her blush flaring back full-force. “Excuse me?”

“It’s not that kind of story,” Zoe deadpanned, one tentacle coiling protectively around her waist. “Gods, Jane.”

“It’s a healthy relationship,” Shea added. Her wings twitched with amusement. “Mostly.”

“Mostly?” Emma snapped.

“I’ve seen your search history,” Alice called from above, spinning lazily on her broom with one leg dangling over the edge. Her tone was playful, but her grin was wicked. “Define ‘healthy’ again?”

“Jane, be honest,” Larissa finally chimed in. “I know you read too many forbidden romance novels between siblings.”

Jane huffed, sticking her tongue out. “They’re cute, okay? It’s about emotional intensity. Secret longing. The collapse of morality in the face of destiny. All very high-quality themes. I’m a cultured reader!”

“That’s not high-quality,” Bella said. “That’s forbidden. The genre’s literally called taboo.”

Jane crossed her arms. “You’re just jealous your demon prince ship didn’t survive the last patch in the last game.”

“That was nerfed for a reason,” Bella muttered.

“I still think they’d be cute together if they weren’t blood-related,” Jane grinned, unbothered.

“We’re not!” Emma and Allen shouted at the same time, flustered in perfect stereo.

The girls broke into laughter. Zoe cracked a smirk, hiding it behind her hand.

Emma groaned and turned her back to all of them, trying to rub the blush off her cheeks through the damn mask filter.

“Ugh. I hate all of you.”

“We love you too,” Larissa said smoothly, flicking her silver hair over her shoulder. “Sibling affection. It’s rare. And precious.”

Vivian smiled.

“But needed,” she said simply.

Allen sighed, but there was no tension in it.

They were a mess, but they were his mess.

He stretched once, rolling his shoulder until the last bit of strain from the fight faded.

“Well,” he said, shifting tone. “Since the event went smoothly. I think we should toss the players a little something.”

Emma tilted her head. “What kind of something?”

Allen’s smirk returned. “A reward.”

His eyes flicked toward Vivian.

“I was thinking… ten minutes.”

Vivian raised an elegant brow. “Ten minutes of what?”

“Your girls,” Allen said plainly. “Send some of your succubi to Ront City. Something lewd. Just… have them serve Alex.”

Emma blinked. “Wait, what?”

“I mean like—hand him drinks. Compliment him. Worship him a bit.”

Zoe choked. “You want to reward the guy who stabbed you with a fan-service brigade?”

“He earned it,” Allen said with a straight face.

Shea laughed. “You’re serious.”

“I’m always serious,” Allen replied smoothly. “And besides, the chat’s already worshipping him. We might as well lean into it. Feed the myth. Give them hope. And… I know it could burn someone in jealousy to ashes.”

Vivian’s lips curved slowly. “Oh, I can arrange that.”

She snapped her fingers, and a small portal bloomed behind her—soft pink light spilling out with sparkles and warm perfume.

Laughter, music, and feminine whispers echoed from inside.

“Ten minutes,” she said. “Of heaven.”

Emma facepalmed.

“Oh my God. He’s going to die of a nosebleed.”

Jane giggled. “Or a heart attack.”

“But he’ll die a legend,” Alice added, voice dreamy.

Allen leaned back, watching the portal flicker.

“Let the world see,” he said. “The Devil Emperor can bleed.”

He paused, smiling to himself.

“But he can also say thank you.”
