Villain Ch 997. Not Innocent

Kai watched the whole process with a growing frown, his concern deepening. “Sir, what happened? What’s with those chocolates?” he asked again, his tone more insistent now.

Allen paused for a moment, glancing up at Kai with a smirk that was both mischievous and resolute. “Love chocolate,” he said, the words carrying a weight of understanding. “They gave me that. So I’m going to make them taste their own medicine,” he explained, a hint of satisfaction in his voice as he continued his work.

Kai’s eyes widened slightly as the realization dawned on him. “Ah, I see,” he said, nodding as he started to understand what was going on. He had heard about the effects of Love Chocolate from the internet before, and now it all made sense—the flushed face, the urgency, the need to turn the tables.

“A cold shower might help you with that, sir,” Kai suggested helpfully, knowing full well the effects of the chocolate could be overwhelming.

“Yeah, I know,” Allen replied, his tone distracted as he wiped his hands clean with a napkin. The cool logic of a cold shower was tempting, but it wasn’t the route he wanted to take. Instead, he felt a growing determination to meet the challenge head-on, to turn the situation around in a way that was more satisfying—more fitting for the dynamic between him and the girls.

He picked up the plate of modified eclairs, a confident smirk on his face as he prepared to return to the room. “But I prefer to handle this another way,” he announced.

Kai nodded, a knowing smile creeping onto his face. “Good luck, sir,” he said, stepping aside to let Allen pass.

Allen gave a brief nod of thanks before turning back toward the door. He took a deep breath, steadying himself for what was to come. The cool air outside the room had helped him regain some composure, but he knew that once he stepped back inside, the tension would return full force. The girls were waiting for him, likely plotting their next move, and he needed to be ready.

He opened the door just wide enough to slip back inside, carefully balancing the plate of eclairs in one hand. The room was exactly as he had left it, the girls still lounging in their lingerie, their expressions a mix of curiosity and anticipation. They had clearly been waiting for him, their eyes lighting up as he re-entered the room.

“There you are,” Shea said, her voice smooth and teasing. “We were starting to think you might have run off on us.”

Allen chuckled and locked the door, shaking his head as he approached the table. “Sorry to keep you waiting,” he replied, his voice calm but with a subtle edge of challenge. “I just had to take care of a little something.”

He placed the plate of eclairs on the table, and the girls’ eyes were immediately drawn to the new dessert. They were intrigued, their gazes flicking from the eclairs to Allen and back again, wondering what he had up his sleeve.

“What’s this?” Zoe asked, her voice filled with curiosity as she leaned in to get a closer look.

“Just a little something I thought you might like,” Allen said casually, though the smirk on his face hinted at the deeper meaning behind his words. “I figured you might be in the mood for something sweet more. My chocolate won’t be enough.”

Vivian raised an eyebrow, sensing the underlying tension in his tone. “Something sweet, huh?” she echoed, her eyes narrowing slightly as she tried to read him. “You’re full of surprises tonight, Allen.”

Allen met Vivian’s gaze with a steady look, feeling the power dynamics in the room start to shift once more. The girls had been driving the evening with their seductive charm, pushing him to the brink, but now he was ready to turn the tables. He could feel the control slipping back into his grasp, and he intended to make the most of it.

“I like to keep things interesting,” he replied, his voice smooth and controlled. His confidence radiated through the room, making the girls pause and reassess the situation. He reached down and picked up one of the eclairs from the plate—one of the few he hadn’t filled with the Love Chocolate.

“Try it,” Allen said casually, lifting the eclair to his mouth. “It wasn’t me who made it, but they’re from my favorite pastry shop. I’m sure you’ll like it.” He took a bite, the rich chocolate and delicate pastry melting in his mouth.

The girls exchanged glances, their curiosity piqued. Allen’s sudden shift in demeanor, combined with his calm suggestion, made them curious. They had been in control up until now, but something had changed. The way he held himself, the confidence in his voice—it was as if he had regained the upper hand without them even realizing it.

They wondered if Allen had requested Kai for an antidote or something similar to cure him.

“Well, if Allen says it’s good, then I’m in,” Zoe said with a grin, reaching out to take one of the eclairs. She picked it up delicately before taking a small, tentative bite. Her eyes widened as the flavor hit her taste buds, the richness of the chocolate filling making her hum with approval. “Mmm, this is amazing!”

Shea followed suit, picking up an eclair and taking a bite. Her reaction was similar, a soft sigh of satisfaction escaping her lips as she savored the dessert. “Wow, you weren’t kidding,” she said, looking at Allen with newfound appreciation. “This is really good.”

One by one, the girls reached for the eclairs, their earlier mischief momentarily forgotten as they indulged in the sweet treat.

Allen watched them with a small, seemingly innocent smile, his eyes moving from one girl to the next as they each took their first bite. But beneath that calm exterior, his thoughts were far from innocent. ‘Gotcha,’ he thought with a sense of satisfaction. He had turned their own trick against them, and now it was only a matter of time before the Love Chocolate’s effects took hold.
