The T-Rex roared at us threateningly, as though daring us to try and attack it once more.

Two of the Velociraptors actually accepted the challenge and broke formation to charge towards the T-Rex.

They leapt towards it, expecting the larger dino to respond with a slash from its chainsaw.

However, contrary to their expectations, the T-Rex spun in a circle and whipped its tail around to smash it against the airborne Raptors, sending all of them flying away.

Another Raptor also broke formation after seeing its comrades get smacked and leapt towards the T-Rex.

This time, the T-Rex actually made use of the chainsaw attached to its right hand as it swung it downwards at an angle, slicing the Raptor into two.

The two halves of the dead dino fell onto the ground with a soft thump, the T-Rex making sure we saw what happened before letting out a roar in our direction once more, this time clearly mocking us.

“Charge!!!” I yelled, pointing my sword at it.

Everyone responded to my call and charged at the Chainsaw T-Rex, all of them flanking out to the sides while I charged at it head on.

The T-Rex raised its right chainsaw before swinging it down towards me as I came into range, prompting me to swing both my swords at it to parry it.

Just in case, I had Eins, Zwei and Drei buff me with [Strength] since this guy has higher strength than I do.

That seemed to be enough as the chainsaw met my blades with a loud clang as I deflected it away. But instead of falling back, the T-Rex simply used the momentum to swing its other hand at me.

I turned myself and raised my swords in a cross, catching the chainsaw as it struck against my blades and making sparks fly as the teeth of the chainsaw clashed against my blades.

I found myself sliding towards the side as the dino pressed its weight on me, the dino trying to overwhelm me with its strength.

Thankfully, I was not alone in this fight as the rest jumped at the T-Rex at that moment, attacking it from the sides and taking advantage of its distracted state.

Two of the Raptors pierced their swords into the T-Rex’s sides, plunging their blades into its body to cling onto it while slashing at the bigger dino with the sword in their mouths.

My girls also joined in as they slashed their blades at the T-Rex’s legs, scoring slashes across its hide and leaving streaks of red across its surface.

The T-Rex let out a roar of pain and tried to spin itself to detach the Raptors, only to stumble as it realised Odeta had grabbed onto its tail and dug her heels in, preventing the dino from swinging its tail.

A beam of light then went straight towards the T-Rex’s head, courtesy of Lisa.

Unfortunately, instead of piercing through it like we thought it would, this one also shared the magic resistance as the light only left an insignificant burn mark on its hide.

Huh… And there was nothing on [Screened] that showed that magic resistance thing… I guess that’s a special property of its own hide and not a skill?

Wait… Then doesn’t that mean…

The T-Rex turned its head to the side as another group of Velociraptors charged towards it, aiming to join its brethren that were already clinging to the side of the T-Rex.

It opened its mouth and a ball of light gathered in between its jaws, the purpose of the ball something we have already seen for ourselves first hand.

“Look out!!” I cried out, a little too late.

A beam of light fired from the T-Rex’s jaws and engulfed the group of Velociraptors, completely wiping them out from existence.

It then turned its attention to the Velociraptors that were clinging on its side. A normal T-Rex might have trouble dislodging them but this one merely sliced at the smaller dino with the chainsaw attached to its head, cutting the Raptor in half.

I thought it might cut itself with its own weapon but the chainsaw didn’t even leave a scratch on its own hide, so I’m assuming its own weapons can’t hurt itself.

It then turned its head and tried to do the same with the other Velociraptor but it had already jumped off its back when it saw what the T-Rex did to its comrade.

I tried to get its attention again by striking at its chainsaw, prompting the giant dinosaur to turn back to roar at me.

It tried to lunge forward to poke at me with the chainsaws on its hands but it forgot that Odeta was still holding onto its tail and only managed to move a little before my Amrap pulled it back.

Annoyed by her, the T-Rex flicked its tail up and Odeta found herself flung up into the air.

But Katsuki had already jumped up to intercept her and caught her midair before redirecting her towards the T-Rex, throwing my Amrap back down like she was some kind of ball.

Odeta fell right on top of the T-Rex’s head, smashing her fist on top of its skull and sending the entire dinosaur crashing onto the ground.

I activated both of my sword’s enchantments and rushed towards the downed Tyrannosaurus, leaping into the air as I reached it before slashing my swords down towards its head at the same time.

Right before my swords could hit it, the T-Rex’s body glowed and I felt the hair at the back of my neck stand.

I quickly pulled back my swords and crossed them in front of me defensively.

That seemed to have been the right decision because the chainsaw that was attached to the T-Rex’s head suddenly detached itself and shot towards me at blinding speed.

It struck the centre of my crossed swords with a loud clang and I found myself skidding back at least a metre.

Even while detached, the chainsaw was still revving and sparks flew from where it connected with my swords.

I let out a yell before swinging my arms up, throwing the chainsaw up into the air.

By then, the T-Rex had already pushed itself back on its feet despite everyone still wailing their swords on its side and Odeta literally punching the top of its head.

The T-Rex’s body glowed again and I felt a bad premonition coming from it.

“Not good! Everyone get away!” I ordered.

My girls immediately reacted to my command without question, all of them jumping away from the T-Rex and putting distance between them.

The Velociraptors were unfortunately a little slower in responding and could not get away in time when the teeth on the T-Rex’s remaining chainsaws suddeling exploded out to fly around the T-Rex, shredding anything that was within a set distance around it before returning to the chainsaws.

Damn, we’re down to six Velociraptors already… At least the supposed leader of them was still alive I guess? And it didn’t seem too bothered by the casualties they were suffering either.

And even though all of them had been slashing away at the T-Rex, it doesn’t seem to be slowing down either and the wounds are simply surface wounds at best.

Looks like in order to take it down, we’ll need to do a really big attack…

As though reading my mind, the lead Velociraptor turned to me and let out a yelp.

I wasn’t sure what it wanted until it crossed its arms in front of its chest in the same pose it did when it first attacked me.

Ah, I get it, it’s going to create an opening for me and I’m expected to finish it off.

It really trusts me that much huh? Alright then.

I nodded at it and the Velociraptor sped towards the T-Rex and I followed after it.

The T-Rex let out a challenging roar which the Velociraptor answered with a cry of its own.

The raptor’s body glowed before it suddenly flashed forward, reappearing in front of the T-Rex and slashing out its swords.

The T-Rex roared out in pain as air blades flew out to slash across its head and body, its attention now focused on the Raptor.

It tried to slash down at the smaller dino but the Raptor used its superior dexterity to weave through its attacks and dodge them.

It then ran in between the T-Rex’s legs, forcing the chainsaw dino to turn around to face it, which meant that its back was now turned to me.

I leapt up into the air once more, pouring my mana into both my blades while getting my Shadow Guards to buff me once again.

My Shadow Sword burst into flames while my Light Sword shone brightly, catching the attention of the T-Rex once more.

When it realised what I was trying to do, it was already too late.

“[Cross Slash]!” I yelled, activating my own Valour Skill.

I shot forward with a burst of speed and reappeared on the ground behind it, holding my swords out at my side.

The T-Rex froze in mid pose before a cut appeared around its neck and the head slowly slid off to crash onto the ground, right before the body followed suit.

Hell yeah, that was cool.
