WIZARD WORLD IRREGULAR

Chapter 1109: Doesn’t That Excite You?

After spending a few hours with Lily, Ethan went to look for Leviathan and Aion.

It wasn’t hard to find them since the two weren’t masking their presence.

However, there was one more person waiting for him to arrive, and that was none other than the Progenitor of Magic, Lady Hecate.

“You’re finally here,” Lady Hecate said, lightly tapping the crystal ball in her hand. “Took you long enough.”

Ethan didn’t reply to the beautiful woman’s words and simply sat on the chair allocated for him.

The newborn Ouroboros, Aion, landed on Ethan’s shoulder and perched on it, as if it was a place that was reserved for him.

Ethan didn’t mind. Aion was now his Spirit Beast, and the two of them had already formed a contract with each other.

“Tell me about the current situation of the Plague Faction,” Ethan said.

They could still threaten his family, so he decided it was best to root them out once and for all.

The young man knew that he would only be able to breathe easier after his enemies were either dead or imprisoned inside Ashmedai’s dungeon.

“The Plague Faction only has three Progenitors remaining, and the rest have been captured by us,” Lady Hecate answered. “Because of their defeat, the other Factions eyeing the worlds under their control moved to invade them.

“Right now, they’re desperately trying to form alliances with the other Factions, even ceding some of the worlds under their control as bargaining chips.

“Even though the Plague Faction seems finished in the eyes of the others, this is far from the truth. If pushed to a corner, they could infest entire worlds with plagues, epidemics, and other infectious diseases.

“Even the Factions who invaded them didn’t dare to swallow everything up, fearing that Zabab and the others would go all out and aim for mutual destruction.”

Ethan lightly tapped his fingers on the table as he digested the words Lady Hecate was telling him.

After she finished her explanation, he then held her gaze and asked her a question.

“What does our Faction plan to do with the Plague Faction?” Ethan asked.

This was the most important question because he didn’t have any intention of letting the Plague Faction remain in the multiverse.

He knew that the Defenders of Midgard were busy defending their own world against the invasions of others, so they couldn’t give him some support if he wished to pursue Zabab and his lackeys.

However, he still wanted to know if there would be a conflict of interest if he made his move. Read latest stories on My Virtual Library Empire

“Zabab came to talk with Ashmedai and tried to negotiate the release of his comrades,” Lady Hecate stated. “But that narcissistic demon refused. He even told Zabab to wash his neck because you would be coming for him soon.

“The stance of our Faction is to defend Midgard—it’s our absolute priority. I believe that, aside from the members of your family, no other Progenitors will come to assist you.

“This doesn’t mean that we don’t want to help. We simply can’t do it at the moment.

“We’re already stretched thin from fighting on multiple fronts at the same time during that chaotic period when Midgard was attacked.

“Did you know? When you were fighting against the Progenitors and their armies that invaded Midgard, multiple Factions attacked our territories in the Land of Saraqael?

“Some of those territories fell to the invaders, and we were pushed back up to our third line of defense. At one point in time, we thought that even our third defensive line would not hold against the invaders.

“However, when your family realized that you were being targeted by the other Factions, they fought desperately and successfully turned the tide of battle, forcing the enemies to retreat.

“Still, that doesn’t change the fact that if the third line of defense fell, we would be forced to put everything on the line.”

Lady Hecate smiled bitterly as she held Ethan’s gaze.

“Do you know what our last line of defense is?” Lady Hecate asked.

“The fourth line of defense?” Ethan guessed.

The beautiful woman shook her head.

“Ethan, there is no fourth line of defense,” Lady Hecate stated. “The last line of defense will be all the armies of Midgard who survived defending the Third Line of Defense.”

The Progenitor of Magic was implying that they almost lost on all fronts during that dire and chaotic battle.

“Perhaps, the reason why we didn’t fall was because you were able to tempt the Progenitors who were attacking us. They want a piece of you, which will definitely make them more powerful.”

“Heh~ so do you want a piece of Ethan as well?” Aion asked in a teasing tone.

Lady Hecate smirked. “I’d be lying if I said I’m not tempted. Hey, Ethan, do you mind if I clone you?”

“I don’t want to be cloned,” Ethan replied. “If you do that, you will just be opening Pandora’s Box.”

“Well, you’re not wrong. But, doesn’t that excite you?” Lady Hecate inquired.

“Crazy witch.” Aion snorted. “I already knew you were one of the crazies when I saw you.”

Lady Hecate chuckled but her eyes were still focused on Ethan, as if she wished that she could experiment on his body in order to sate her curiosity.

“What are your plans, Ethan?” Leviathan, who had remained silent during the discussion, finally asked.

“Total annihilation,” Ethan replied without hesitation.

Lady Hecate sighed, while Leviathan nodded in understanding.

The weave protecting Midgard had already recovered with Aion’s help.

This meant that Midgard’s location was once again hidden from the greedy eyes of the different Factions who wished to conquer their world.

Truth be told, they were only able to find Midgard when Ethan unlocked his powers.

His brilliance shone so bright like a guiding star, and all the Progenitors needed to do was follow the light to know his location.

But now, they could no longer find him because the protection of the world had been fully repaired by the newborn Ouroboros.

Also, the reason why Ethan was confident in attacking the Plague Faction was because of Atlantis.

The Ancient City had the power to jump through different worlds, allowing them to invade any territory as long as Ethan knew its location.

Not to mention that they had Aion, who made finding Zebab and the other Progenitors of the Plague Faction very easy.

After all, he was a Primordial Beast that had existed since the Multiverse was born. There was no place that his enemies could hide from him.

“When will we attack?” Levithan inquired.

Ethan glanced at Leviathan before shifting his gaze to the Progenitor of Magic, who was also waiting for his reply.

“When?” Ethan said with a determined look on his face. “Right now.”
