Chapter 1304 It's My First Wedding
Jiang Yuyan went to check on Lu Lijun who was lying in bed unconscious. She observed him and his hurt hand which made the coldness in her eyes turn into fury.
Jiang Yuyan stepped out of the room and looked at Xiao Min, "Get everything, that can lead to the vanishing of the entire Han group."
Xiao Min simply nodded as he knew his boss was not going to spare them at any cost. He left while Jiang Yuyan continued to sit in the chair and she looked in deep thoughts.
-----
Meanwhile, in the wedding hall, no one found Lu Lijun and Jiang Yuyan. Xiao Min informed the family that Jiang Yuyan won't be there as she has left while he asked Noah to leave to go to Lu Lijun so he could tell the family that both friends had left the venue after the wedding ceremony.
When Noah was leaving the wedding hall, Liwei and Noah crossed the path. Liwei could only arrive on the wedding day from the USA because of her studies and had no time to meet anyone. She had seen Lu Lijun before but she did not get the time to talk to him or rather she didn't wish to go to him on her own. She was good at holding grudges.
It was a little awkward but they greeted each other, "How are you?" Noah asked.
"Good," she replied with a light smile and looked around, "I don't see your friend here."
"He went out for a while," Noah replied.
She nodded, "Hmm! See you then."
Noah nodded and they both parted their ways.
Noah stayed with Lu Lijun at the same suite of that hotel with San Zemin's men around and still sealing that part of the floor. Jiang Yuyan left the venue as she had something important to do. She had to punish those who tried to hurt the most precious person in her life.
'They dared hurt my family,' Jiang Yuyan thought as she sat in her car and left the venue.
-----
The wedding was over by the evening and the guests had left the venue while the bride and the groom had to leave for their destination- the suite booked for them.
Inside the black luxury car, the bride and the groom were sitting quietly in the back passenger seat. Ming Lan didn't know what to say or how to act so she preferred to keep her sight fixed out of the car window, trying to calm her nerves. It would be the wedding night and she would be with Wen Zac as his wife. Though all this was inevitable and she was the one to decide on this marriage arrangement, she could not help but feel nervous over it.
She didn't know him that well and was not close to him to even go through it all so easily. To date, he was just a friend of her brother.
When she was being surrounded with nervousness, Wen Zac was sitting calm while his attention focussed ahead. In silence, that short journey was over and they reached the hotel where the VIP suite was arranged for them.
The attendants were waiting for them at the VIP parking lot and they were guided to their respective floor through the VIP elevator which was not allowed to be accessed by others.
The lady attendant guided them towards the suite and stopped. She unlocked the door with a key card and offered it to Wen Zac as she bowed her head a little, "Mrs. and Mrs. Wen, if there is anything, please let me know," and left.
Wen Zac opened the door and looked at Ming Lan who was standing frozen. She sensed his gaze on her but didn't look at him. Instead, she entered the room as she knew what he looked at her.
Once she entered the suite, Wen Zac followed her and looked at her, who was facing her back at him and was looking at all the flowery decorations inside the suite. He closed the door.

With the sound of the door closing, Ming Lan felt as if her heart skipped a beat and her body would leave her soul soon. Since they left the wedding venue, there was not even a single word conversation between them and now being alone with him made it more nerve-wracking for her. If he had talked at least something, it would have helped calm down the tension she was feeling but this man was simply quiet and it was hard to know what was going on in his mind. He seems like a stranger to her.
She felt him coming closer to her from behind and gulped, not knowing what to do. He stood next to her as he observed the room too.
"You must be exhausted. You can change into comfortable clothes and rest," she heard him say.
'What does he mean by this?' Feeling puzzled, she turned her face to look at him and he said again, "The bedroom is there and everything you need is already inside the wardrobe. I will wait here."
Ming Lan only nodded and walked towards one door inside the suite. Before entering the bedroom, she saw him going towards the window and standing there while looking outside.
She didn't mind it as he was right- she was tired to her bones and could not wait to take such a heavy dress off of her delicate body. The moment she closed the door, she saw the way the bedroom was decorated- meant for the wedding night couple. If they were any two people deeply in love, it was such a romantic place for those two but here one didn't know what went in other's mind.
Ming Lan opened the wardrobe and saw everything she needed was there- lingeries, nightdress, cosmetics. she was amazed to see it as it was not their home but just a hotel suite.
Did he ask to arrange all this or these are just usual arrangements for the couple? 'How would I know. It's my first wedding and wedding night?' she smiled at her silly thoughts and picked out the sets of dresses from the wardrobe.
