Flash Marriage: He is a Wife-pampering Addict
Chapter 1160: 1159 You don't care, but I doChapter 1160: 1159 You don’t care, but I do
Ever since Qin Mu said last night that he would give up this house for An Lin to live in, after he moved out, An Lin felt guilty.
The next morning, for the first time ever, An Lin got up earlier than Qin Mu, wanting to show some initiative by making breakfast for him.
Even though it was the weekend, Qin Mu, who was used to getting up early, woke up at seven.
As soon as he opened the door to the guest room, the smell of burnt food assailed his nostrils. Qin Mu frowned, his narrow eyes looking towards the kitchen.
Taking a few steps and looking through the glass door, he saw An Lin busily moving about in the kitchen, which made his frown deepen. He quickly approached her, “An Lin, what are you doing?”
“Ah!”
His voice was deep and carried a tone of reproach, which also came so suddenly that An Lin, who was in the midst of transferring a fried egg to a plate, trembled with fright. The egg, which she had managed to fry successfully, fell onto her foot the next second.
Then, a sharp pain in her instep made her cry out.
Qin Mu quickly stepped forward and, before she could throw the frying pan she was holding, he deftly caught it and placed it back on the stove.
“Why would you scare someone so early in the morning? My foot really hurts.”
An Lin glared at Qin Mu, indignantly. The fried egg on her instep had now ended up on the floor. She was bent over, holding her foot with both hands, but still remembering to look up and glare at him.
“Who told you to mess around in the kitchen? Go rinse your foot in the bathroom.” Qin Mu’s face was stern, and his eyes coldly scanned over the fried egg now on the floor. If not for the slight scent of egg, he wouldn’t even recognize it as one.
Seeing him looking disdainfully at her fried egg on the floor, An Lin pursed her lips, turned around, and went to rinse her foot in the bathroom.
After rinsing with cold water for a minute, and no longer feeling the burning pain, An Lin finally came out of the bathroom.
“Here’s some ointment for you.”
Qin Mu’s tall figure stood in the living room, watching An Lin come out, he glanced at her foot and handed her the ointment.
“After I apply the ointment, I’ll go make breakfast for you. You’ve given me shelter here; I won’t live for free. At worst, I’ll take care of your meals all day long.”
An Lin puckered her lips, clearly displeased, and took the ointment from Qin Mu.
“You might as well just wait to eat. I dare not eat anything made by a kitchen idiot like you. I’m already very grateful you haven’t burned down the kitchen.”
Qin Mu thoroughly mocked An Lin.
An Lin’s face changed, and she was about to lose her temper when Qin Mu’s next words stopped her in her tracks. “Even if the kitchen isn’t on fire, I’m afraid of landing in the hospital again after eating your cooking.”
“Don’t look down on me like that. One day, I’ll learn how to cook. It’s just cooking; I don’t believe it’s harder than managing a company.”
After all, she was a corporate elite. Those in the business world greeted her with a respectful “President An.”
Qin Mu scoffed coldly, already having the advantage of being half a head taller than her, and now with An Lin crouching down to apply the ointment, he looked down on her from his lofty position, “Maybe cooking is easy for others, but you might as well forget it.”
Having said that, Qin Mu strode into the kitchen, efficiently cleaned up the chaotic mess An Lin had made, and then began to prepare breakfast.
Just simple fried eggs and soy milk.
Qin Mu took less time than An Lin and the breakfast he made was beautifully colored and tasted excellent.
Unlike the eggs An Lin had fried, which were a burnt mess.
“Qin Mu, from now on, just cook an extra portion when you make food, and I’ll pay you for it,” An Lin said at the breakfast table, after tasting the egg that Qin Mu had fried, a bright smile appearing on her beautiful face.
The food that Qin Mu made was really delicious.
“I don’t need the money.”
Qin Mu didn’t even glance at her, focusing intently on eating his breakfast.
An Lin pouted, but soon her smile returned, and she coaxed, “How about this, you handle cooking and I’ll take care of the cleaning, I’m definitely good at that.”
“You can’t clean as well as a hired cleaner,” Qin Mu said, taking a cup with his left hand and sipping some soy milk before he finally looked at An Lin seriously, “I already called Mo Xiuchen last night. Three days from now, I’ll move out and leave this place for you to live in.”
“Why? Aren’t we buddies? Why do you have to move out? I don’t mind living under the same roof with you.”
An Lin had just bitten into an egg when she heard Qin Mu say he was moving out. Her face altered instantly, and as she tried to explain in a panic, her words came out unclear and muffled.
“You might not mind, but I do,” Qin Mu frowned and patiently explained, “An Lin, I’m not used to living with someone else. Since you like living here, I’ll leave it to you.”
“But I don’t know how to cook.”
“You’ve been living on your own in City C for years without knowing how to cook and you haven’t starved to death. Now in G City, if you want to find a place to freeload for meals, that’s hardly a difficult task, so you can certainly survive.”
Qin Mu hooked up the corner of his mouth in a mocking smile as he spoke these words clearly in jest.
An Lin’s temper flared up instantly, “Of course, I can survive! Since you’re so unappreciative, I no longer want to live with you. Don’t bother moving, I’ll move out.”
With that, she threw her chopsticks on the table, stood up, and stormed into the bedroom, slamming the door shut behind her as she began to pack her bags.
Qin Mu was momentarily stunned.
Looking at the bedroom door that was slammed shut, his gaze deepened. Then he looked down and continued eating his breakfast.

Suburban villa
After feeding her three little treasures, Wen Ran had just lain down when her phone rang.
Mo Xiuchen took her phone, glanced at the caller ID, and said gently, “It’s Xiaoxiao calling.”
Wen Ran took the phone, pressed the answer button, and cheerily said, “Hello, Miss Bai.”
“Ranran, I’m just telling you not to come and see me off. I’m on Meng Ke’s car going to the airport now. You take good care of yourself during postpartum recovery, and look after my godson and goddaughter.”
Wen Ran giggled, “Don’t worry, I’ll definitely take good care of your godson and goddaughter.”
“Make sure they learn to call me ‘godmother’ first.”
“That’s a difficult sound for them to learn, I can’t manage that,” Wen Ran said as she sat up, and Mo Xiuchen immediately placed a pillow behind her back, making her comfortable against the headboard to chat with Bai Xiaoxiao.
After a few minutes of talking, when Bai Xiaoxiao heard Mo Xiuchen’s voice nearby, she tactfully ended the call.
Wen Ran passed the phone back to Mo Xiuchen, but before it reached his hands, the phone rang again.
“It’s An Lin.”
Mo Xiuchen looked at the display and informed Wen Ran.
Wen Ran continued with the call, “Ranran, Qin Mu threw me out, I don’t have a place to stay yet, can I stay at your place for a couple of nights?”
“Qin Mu threw you out? An Lin, you’re not joking, are you?” Wen Ran’s eyes widened in disbelief. Although Qin Mu always appeared aloof, he had always been good to An Lin.
“I’m not joking, it’s true. That despicable man…” An Lin complained on the other end of the phone, “Ranran, I won’t be a bother for long, I’ll move out as soon as I find a place.”
