On the other hand, Madam Kong peered out of the window of the tea house. Her eyes hovered just an inch above from the bottom of the window, as she looked down at the street.
Her eyes turned bigger than saucers as she turned and looked at everyone in the room. After fending off those things for so long until Yu Dong returned, they were really tired.
Their arms were no longer moving and they were now suffering from muscle pain, which was why they were now lying on the floor with a pained expression on their faces.
“They have fallen unconscious. It’s alright,” she told Madam Hea and everyone else in the room.
The first one to react to her words was Yu Mai who jumped on his feet and started clapping, “Yay, my sister won!”
No one joined in his cheers as they had no idea what to think. Yu Dong might really be the one who dealt with this problem, but— Madam Hea and Madam Kong along with the three mers and the children peered out of the windows.
They all stared at the flying blue orbs and had no idea what they were —Yu Dong was truly a mystery to them.
“It is alright though,” said Madam Hea after a long pause. She turned to look at the rest and said to them, “No matter what she knows or what skills she has, Madam Yu has helped us and that’s all that matters.”
“You are right,” Madam Kong smacked her forehead and sighed with a mocking smile. “What was I even thinking? Madam Yu was the one who saved my daughters and now even my and my husband’s life.”
“She is our family’s benefactor. No matter what.”
The others nodded. Compared to the rest Yu Le was still a bit better as he had seen Yu Dong do a lot of things that were inhumanly impossible for many —and he was the first to accept this reasoning.
While the one who took a while was Yu Jiao Yu. He had never seen such a thing and was a bit scared. He thought that his niece had become a mountain spirit or something of the sort. How could a human do such a thing?
But when he thought about how Yu Dong was the one who rescued his mer son from those crazy hooligans —Yu Jiao Yu somehow managed to calm himself down.
So what if his niece was different from the rest? At least she was a kind woman who only punished criminals while protecting the innocent.
There was nothing to worry about.
With that thought in his mind, Yu Jiao Yu gulped and then said to the rest, “Should we go and look for Dong Dong? Who knows what kind of condition she might be in at the moment?”
Upon hearing Yu Jiao Yu’s words, the rest of the people in the tea room agreed. Yu Dong went to face these people alone. Who knows how many injuries was she suffering from at the moment?

On the other side, as she returned to the first floor of the restaurant, Yu Dong looked at Mo Fu who was huddled in one corner. When the man saw her come down the stairs, he let out a squeak and buried himself further inside the corner where he was trying his best to hide.
Yu Dong: “…”
She was truly speechless.
“What are you squeaking for?” She asked while looking at the man. “Do you think that I will torment you?”
She could see this man had never killed anyone, at most he was a bit boastful than others. Because those who had killed someone didn’t have the same innocence as this man.
Mo Fu pointed at Sister Xiu’s corpse which was lying on the floor a bit away from him. “You are here to kill me too, right?”
And before Yu Dong could say anything, he closed his eyes and covered his face with his hands, “I know you are—just make it quick. Try not to scratch my face, I want to die with my face looking as charming as ever like this — timeless beauty, I want to become that.”
As he was scared, he started to blabber. At first, Yu Dong wanted to tell him that she was not there to kill him but as Mo Fu continued to blabber, she rolled her eyes.
With her feet pivoting, she headed out of the restaurant. This man’s cultivation was too low, most probably Sister Xiu ended up fancying his face and brought him along to her sect.
However, this man was more like a mascot rather than a fighter. She didn’t have to worry about him as Mo Fu had already crossed the limit of his cultivation level.
If he continued with his ways then he would be killed by just about anyone.
Mo Fu was still going on and on about how he wanted a quick, painless and seamless death but as he waited and waited, nothing happened.
He raised his head and dropped his hands that were covering his eyes, when he saw that he was quite alone in the restaurant he was stunned.
His neck twisted left and then right when he didn’t see Yu Dong, he scrambled to his feet and rushed out of the building and that was where he saw her—walking down the street while ignoring him.
‘This woman! I was prepared to die right here and now,’ Mo Fu thought angrily. He chased after Yu Dong and asked her waspishly, “Why didn’t you kill me? I asked you to kill me painlessly didn’t I?”
“There is no such thing as painless death—even the finest poison brings a kind of suffocation as your heart stops beating,” explained Yu Dong in a casual voice and a woman who was stirring on the street paused and turned to look at her and Mo Fu with confusion in her eyes.
Clearly, she was stunned. Either she thought that Yu Dong was crazy or the one who had gone crazy was her—after all, who would talk about death like they were discussing meal plans?
