Chapter 768: A Shy Mermaid Princess

The situation at Zimograd’s gate is stabilized thanks to Oya and Astrid, and Lucien signals Ghilanna, who swiftly uses her nature magic to prevent the mutilated elves from dying.

"Hehehe..." Saria giggles, though mentally, as she’s too shy to do it out loud.

He tenderly strokes her face, feeling the softness of her skin and the outline of the delicate scales over it. "You are so precious, Saria..."

The gentle touches and the way Lucien says her name send Saria into ecstasy; her little heart beats so fast it feels like it might leap out of her chest at any moment.

Lucien can’t help but laugh at her cute reactions. "Oh my dear, I should tell you to overcome this shyness and go for what you want..."

"B–b-but?" She barely manages to think amid his affectionate onslaught.

"Hmm..." Lucien runs his fingers over Saria’s face down to her delicate neck, turning her skin in that area red.

"I would be depriving myself of this pleasure," Lucien explains before leaning over the mermaid and kissing her shoulder.

"AH!!!" Saria, already feeling delightful, lets out a loud moan of pleasure as Lucien’s warm lips touch her skin.

"Hahaha!!" Lucien can’t resist laughing at Saria’s exaggerated reaction. "Come on, I’ve kissed you on the lips several times, so how can you be even more shy with this?"

Caught off guard by Lucien’s question, Saria blushes even more. Instead of retreating as her mind urges, she grips the hilt of Ghost Lady tightly, seeking her sister’s support to muster the courage to be bolder.
