“Hello!” Peridot’s voice suddenly echoed in the ears of the Grand Formation Master Keisei.

Grand Formation Master Keisei suddenly looked at the direction of her voice but the only thing that met him is Peridot’s foot. Peridot delivered a kick that contained her full force and sent Grand Formation Master Keisei flying towards the edge of the formation. Grand Formation Master Keisei did not even notice that he was suddenly attacked as his head was directly impacted.

Just before Grand Formation Master Keisei could crash towards the edge of the formation, the land itself suddenly created a barricade with spikes to meet his body. Grand Formation Master Keisei hurriedly used his abilities to conjure up a barrier as he crashed directly onto the deformed land. He managed to successfully defend himself against the spiked land, but he was unable to defend against the succeeding elemental attacks.

A pillar of flame ignited on his location which destroyed his remaining barrier. Blades of wind then assaulted his unprotected body which slashed parts of his clothes and even skin. After enduring the pain of being covered in flames and slashed by wind, a cold frost suddenly exploded which created a powerful steam explosion that delivered massive damage towards him.

“Why are you doing this?! I have not offended the Firefeather clan nor you!” Grand Formation Master Keisei shouted with indignation towards Peridot that still looks like Lady Firefeather.

“I guess even an expert formation master like you cannot see through a Legendary Tier Glamour charm. I am not just Lady Firefeather but also the Young Lady of the Ryujin. I always thought that your formation felt familiar because I was trapped inside of it once. The agony that I had to endure when dragon hunters came for my head was very unbearable. I shall give you a taste of that before I kill you.” Peridot stated with a cold glint in her eyes as she now remembers Grand Formation Master Keisei.

When Peridot did not know that this secret organization started targeting the Ryujin, she is still able to freely travel the eastern continent without issue. She would not even bother to transform in such a detailed fashion as she would also release some of her aura as a Ryujin. She became too complacent that there would be no one that would dare touch a Ryujin like herself as they are considered the caretakers of the eastern continent.

Unaware of the danger that suddenly appeared, Peridot was caught in formations of differing strengths. At first, she thought that she was just suddenly trapped in a practice formation as the first few times were easy to destroy but she was wrong. The formations that accidentally trapped her was actually just formations to gauge her strength. When her strength has already been assessed, the plan to capture and kill her happened.

She was trapped inside of a powerful formation that had the same energy signature as the one they are in now. This formation was incredibly difficult to destroy as it was incredibly solid. To make it worse, self proclaimed dragon hunters suddenly came up to her and started to kill her. She felt the energy pulsing form the weapons of these dragon hunters and they were indeed made of material from dragons.

She ended up fighting them for three days straight as a result, but she still reduced their numbers quite a bit. The only problem came when the formation itself started put pressure on her. The voice of the formation master that trapped her could be heard as her entire body is pressed to the ground. She might not have seen Grand Formation Master Keisei’s face, but she remembered the voice of the one that captured her.

“This will be payback for what happened back then. Also, revenge for those that you have killed as well.” Peridot stated as she destroyed numerous epic tier rare gems and released a barrage of elemental spells towards Grand Formation Master Keisei.

Peridot could still remember the day she lost as she was informed of the sad news when she returned back into the game. Some Ryujin was hunted down like animals and their body parts were sold in the black market. This was the time she cried as some of those that died were the ones that secretly guarded her. It was also this time when she assumed the identity of Lady Firefeather in order to track those that attacked them.

Peridot did not even show any emotion as she continuously released powerful spells by sacrificing rare gems and even using dragon tongue to empower them. The body of Grand Formation Master Keisei could no longer be recognized as a result of her brutal attacks. The Immortals actually wanted to help her, but Levin Cloud blocked them saying that she can handle it on their own. The Immortals learned that day that Lady Firefeather was only sick, but she was never weak in the first place.

The blade engulfed the sharp aura that can pierce through even the toughest of steel. The old man held on tightly towards his sword as he released the mighty power trapped within it. With just one move, the barrier that was impregnable suddenly looked like it was cut in half. The scenery of having space sliced into could be seen as the sword of the Murim Alliance Leader with the title of Sword Saint destroyed the weakened formation.

“The formation has been destroyed! Rescue squads and attack squads, enter now!” A command from a general in the Murim Alliance shouted as numerous shadows entered the area.

“It was still sturdier than I thought. I had to give it my all to just destroy it.” The Sword Saint stated as he patted his back acting like it hurts.

“Please do not act like that was difficult for you, Alliance Leader. Acting like your body is not in peak condition does not suit you when your aura itself can cut through steel.” Lady Tang stated as she appeared next to the Murim Alliance Leader.

“Shall we go inside then? I detected the presence of an entity that could easily level the entirety of Kunlun if left on its own. I also sense the presence of an entity that could bend space and time to its will. Since when did the eastern continent have demon emissaries?” The Sword Saint stated as his eyes became sharp, and he vanished from his spot.

“Seriously, he still jumps headfirst like my grandfather says. What is the use for his guards if he does that? All of you follow me and regroup with the Alliance Leader.” Lady Tang stated as she also vanished from her location.

Adrian and Branch Leader Goldenclaw were at a stalemate as they attacked one another. Branch Leader Goldenclaw wanted to help Grand Formation Master Keisei as he saw that the woman in their group is barraging him with powerful elemental spells, but he cannot escape. The combination of the demon and his unknown floating bug made him unable to leave his spot. Should he even attempt to leave, either the demon or the unknown floating bug would drag him back to his original location.

“I cannot access my full power with this damned formation draining and using most of the energy that I have! Still, if this formation does not exist then those bastards from the Murim Alliance that is keeping tabs on me will know what I am.” Branch Leader Goldenclaw or rather the Primordial Beast of Greed stated.

“Oh! He already died.” Adrian muttered as he received a notification that Peridot killed Grand Formation Master Keisei.

Adrian wanted to fight the Primordial Beast of Greed longer in order to waste more of its energy, but he did not want to spoil Peridot’s revenge. He wanted to isolate the formation master earlier, but Peridot’s statement made him think otherwise. He supported her as a friend as her grievance should be resolved by her own hands. In the end, he could see the resolute face of Peridot that no longer had to endure the pain that she hid inside.

“Even if that useless formation master died, this formation will still trap you for at least one more hour! Unlike before where I shared control over this formation, the death of that useless one has shifted all control to me! I shall show you what true Greed is like!” The Primordial Beast of Greed stated as he no longer needs to preserve as much energy as before since he can now fully control it without limit unlike earlier.

The Primordial Beast of Greed thought that he could destroy all of the people inside of the formation in less than an hour as this is the time it takes for it to fully dissolve. His thoughts were instantly interrupted though as a powerful cutting force sliced through the formation in one instant. The formation that should have lasted for at least an hour suddenly got destroyed in mere seconds.
