As they saw Aquarina struggling against the mighty Ancient Orichalcum Golem, Silvia and Justicio didn’t just stand there. They had temporarily thought about escaping and leaving it all to her, but after seeing how much she struggled, they quickly realized that golem alone was at the very least, Tier 9 in level of power!

It was incredibly tough, it was smart, it possessed deadly lasers, it could punch and make Aquarina bleed! It wasn’t something normal at all… but if Aquarina struggled against it, what could they even do?

Compared to other people, and perhaps even Aquarina a couple of years ago, they were very powerful! But right now? If that golem were to even touch them…

They would die!

And there wasn’t any divine protection to save their lives, like Aquarina.

“Fuck! We have to do something! Anything! What can we do?!” Silvia panicked.

“Shit, shit! Khepri! It’s your damn fault! You got us here, you shitty bug!” Justicio lost it. “If Aquarina dies I’m going to fucking kill you!!!”

“EEK! I-It wasn’t my intention for this to happen! I really didn’t detect the golem at all! I’m sorry!” cried Khepri. “I-I can’t do much on my own! That thing is resistant to heat, and sand won’t help either! Argh! Ugh… But if we can get my ornament… I-If we can get to it, we could do something!”

“Ornament?!” Silvia asked. “Can it really change anything?!”

“It can! While Aquarina is fighting the golem, follow me! The door over there should lead to my ornament!” said Khepri. “Once we get it, we can help Aquarina defeat it! Hurryyyy!”

Khepri led the two across the large hall, Aquarina sparing no second to even glance at them as she was busy fighting the golem, trying to melt it while being electrocuted by its powerful diamond core.

They ran across the corridor, while Leviathan kept a close look at them from behind, suddenly roaring as he released a breath of ice, stopping tiny spider-like golems from attacking the kids.

“ROOAAARR!”

FLUOSH!

The little spider-like golems were coming from small holes at the end of the corridor, which seemed to be a last defense for carbon-based organisms to enter the ruins.

“Wouldn’t it had been better from the start if you went alone, Khepri?!” Silvia asked.

“B-But I was scared! I don’t know this place you know?!” Khepri kept crying, only making Silvia and Justicio more irritated.

“I swear I’ll strangle her!” said Justicio angrily, finally showing more emotions than just “sleepy” or “carefree”.

He could be a real demon when truly angered, if the life of his friends was in true danger especially. And he did mean it, if Aquarina truly died, he wouldn’t even hesitate to kill Khepri however he could avenge her, because this was all the damned spirit’s fault.

“The spiders are coming! Are they endless?! There are dozens!”

They had roughly the size of a small dog or a cat, they had a coverture of Orichalcum, making them incredibly hard, however, they were as light as feathers, so kicking them and sweeping them with weapons helped pushing them away.

Khepri kept them away using her Golden Sands and Sunlight Lasers, while Silvia swung her Soul Weapon to smash them away, and Justicio the axe to swipe them like someone brushing away some trash with a broom.

“A-Almost there!”

Khepri flew into the gate, touching it and infusing it with her spiritual energies. Slowly, the circuits were filled, until the door finally opened.

“Come!”

Silvia and Justicio jumped into the gate as it opened, while Leviathan stayed behind them, covering the entrance with ice and fighting hundreds of tiny Orichalcum Spider Golems alone.

“Leviathan!”

Silvia panicked, seeing how they left him alone.

“Don’t worry, he’ll be fine! Spirits can’t die as long as their masters are alive!”

Justicio smiled, grabbing Silvia as he jumped.

Silvia hadn’t noticed, but the stairs leading down were broken, and there was a huge cliff in between the stairs at the entrance and the other half.

With a long leap of faith, the two Everstonians reached the other end, as Justicio landed with his feet.

BAAAM!

Khepri was right there, flying towards the end of the hall and then illuminating everything by creating a huge ball of sunlight.

FLAAASH!

As she did, the entire hall was illuminated at long last, revealing a regal temple entrance, a huge throne room-like hall.

There was a shattered throne made of gold at the end of the corridor, while the rest of the room was decorated with giant pillars made of golden orichalcum.

“There it is! It’s over there!”

Khepri pointed into the distance, there was something sitting over the throne, this was her “ornament”, resembling nothing like they had imagined.

Was it a crown? No.

Was it some sort of accessory? Not at all!

Her damn “ornament” was a huge piece of gold, silver, and black steel, imbued with red and yellow crystals.

It resembled a huge rectangle, nicely decorated with scarab ornaments on top of it all…

“What the hell is that thing?!” Silvia and Justicio screamed the same words at the same time.

“Come on, it’s my ornament! What else would it be?!” Khepri said, flying towards it.

As she reached it and touched it, the ornament started glowing brightly, releasing golden and red lights, beginning to…

Transform!

CLANK! CLANK! CLANK!

The sound of metallic pieces clanking together and rapidly transforming into something else reverberated across the room, as Silvia and Justicio watched in disbelief as a three-meter-tall golem emerged before them.

“W-Wha… What the hell?!”

“This can’t be for real! It was a golem?!”

Khepri giggled, flying on top of the robot, as she fused with it, making it glow brightly.

They noticed this golem had the shape of a humanoid, a woman, a tall giantess.

Her “skin” was mostly of a dark silver color, shining with a metallic shine, covering the rest of her feminine, curvy body were several layers of golden metal, creating a beautiful armor.

Hell, the golem even had clearly breast-shaped chest plate, which had two jewels attached to the tip, making it resemble a beautiful woman made of steel.

She had a crown shaped like a scarab too, and spread out her scarab-like wings, made of translucent crystal.

“Finally! I got my first ornament! And… these memories- Ugh! So that’s what was happening?! Wait, we don’t got time! Hurry!”
