REINCARNATED WITH A GLITCHED SYSTEM: WHY IS MY MP NOT RUNNING OUT?
Chapter 1520 1520: Abyssal Embodiment—–
Aquarina was gasping for air as the golem didn’t gave in, her flames were burning through it, but the core was tremendously hard and stuck to a harder inner body, one she was unable to melt either!
Whatever this golem’s model was, it seemed much more durable and powerful than any other artificial being that the Gods had ever made before. It seemed made to fight beings of extreme power and strength as well.
“Uuggh…! D-Dammit!”
However, Aquarina was giving up, quickly wrapping her arms around the golem’s hands grasping her hips and chest, trying to crush her bones, and beginning to merge her body with her flames and her abyssal embodiment.
The reason?
So she could become flames themselves, and rapidly begin to melt even the golem’s arms! However, they seemed to have a hard skeleton inside, one that wasn’t melting either.
“RAAAHHHH!”
She roared furiously, as her aura shaped into several draconic heads again, firing a triple dragon breath with her jaws, hitting the golem’s head and beginning to melt it.
The liquid orichalcum splattered everywhere, covering the area with golden liquid that also melted the floor below.
RUMBLE!
The floor below was revealed to be a huge black pit, as Aquarina realized she would fall with the damn golem to who knows where, she had to escape.
CRASH! CRASH! CRASH!
CLANK!
She started using her techniques, magic, everything. Her Assassination Arts didn’t work though, only barely doing some scratches on the metallic surface, the core was undamaged.
“Fuck!”
Then she moved to using her magic, ocean magic was completely helpless here, and it only helped the golem harden its metal further and regain control of it, which would only be worse for her.
Then Aquarina quickly thought of something else…
“I have to merge… I need to merge with my elements, completely…!”
She gritted her teeth ferociously, recalling her father’s techniques.
Abyssal Embodiment!
The power of her bloodline, of the Darkage Family of assassins, the innate power to merge with darkness and shadows, and become one with it.
Aquarina, so far, had been unable to unleash a complete and full transformation. She was able to cover her body and transform her legs or head at a time.
However, to fully become the Abyss itself, was something she was lacking!
She often thought it was because of her thin bloodline, her father was the last of his family, and she only inherited half his bloodline at the end.
Meaning that, she thought his inherited strength could only manifest half of its true powers.
But right now, did she even had the time to doubt anything about this?!
“Aquarina, listen well.”
She recalled her father’s teachings, that one fateful night when he taught her this ability.
“Abyssal Embodiment causes your mind and soul to fall into what’s called an Abyssal State. If you use it wrong, you’ll become a monster. So we need to train this thoroughly… And look.”
He suddenly used his own dagger, as Shade pierced his heard with it.
“Dad?! What are you…! Doing?!””
Aquarina panicked a bit back then, but then calmed down, noticing her father wasn’t dying.
Slowly, the darkness was infused into his very heart, transforming him into a being of pure darkness and shadows.
A true embodiment of the abyss!
“I’ve mastered this power years ago,” he said. “But by applying this power directly into your heart, you can forcefully transform, fully assimilating this… Never use this, you heard me?”
“T-Then why show me?” asked Aquarina.
“I said never use this… until you’re sure you can control your own mind and emotions, your own soul,” he said. “Only then, will you be able to fully release these powers.”
Aquarina closed her eyes, as she pointed the dagger into her heart.
The Divine Protection had already activated thrice by now, she barely had a single use left.
It would probably protect her from death if she ever failed.
“Fuck it!”
Her eyes turned red as she infused all the Abyssal Energy into her dagger and used it to pierce her heart.
CRASH!
She felt a tremendous pain across her chest, as she vomited blood.
However, her heart didn’t stop beating, no, it had become very tough after cultivating so much.
And as the Abyssal Energy was infused inside, rapidly merging with her blood, which was then pumped through the rest of her body…
BA DUM!
BA DUM!
BA DUM!
Aquarina felt like she was melting.
Blackness engulfed her completely, all her senses were dulled, almost completely disappearing.
The only thing she could see, feel, hear, smell, taste, and touch was…
The endless darkness of the abyss.
“A-Ahh…! Haaahh…!”
She was growing desperate; the Abyss was consuming her mind!
Aquarina was rapidly entering the Abyssal State, becoming more and more unhinged as she began losing her sense of self!
Yet…
“Aquarina, you can do this!”
“I love you~”
“Let’s meet once we’re finally done!”
“Hmm, here, I made this ring for you!”
“How about we cook something for dinner with what we hunted?”
Voices constantly reverberated across the darkness, the Abyss slowly became clearer, as the tender and warm voice of her beloved guided her mind.
Her sanity remained stable, as she saw images of Sylphy smiling, talking, giggling, kissing her, hugging her, and cuddling with her.
“Sylphy…!”
As the child deep within her, the scaredy little girl that was so afraid of the world that was still within her heart cried Sylphy’s name.
FLASH!
Aquarina regained consciousness, her entire body having completely changed.
She had become completely pitch-black, as black as the night, or charcoal itself, several red colored veins spread across her body, giving her a demonic appearance.
Her eyes combined into a single crimson eye, and her white hair remained white, but it seemed to have become incredibly long, waving as if it were alive.
The dagger in her chest was still there, she took it off, and her wound instantly regenerated.
“I-I did it?!”
“EXTERMINATE…! ELIMINATE…!”
The voice of the golem echoed beneath her, as its gigantic hands kept pressing at her body, attempting to crush her bones.
But it wasn’t working anymore.
FLUOSH!
By turning her hips into shadows and moving away, Aquarina managed to drag herself away from the golem’s hands.
“Hah… It worked.”
And then, she smiled maliciously at the golem.
“Heh! You’re so fucking dead.”
