In less than an hour, the rabbit wave had hit several towns and had already started a major panic in Ronan. Besides the rabbits, the army had also made it into towns, and the war truly began.

Silva, on the other hand, was headed for the capital. He flew there with the others on his back and reached the capital in only a few minutes.

As soon as the people of the capital spotted the dragon in the sky, the entire kingdom was thrown into panic. But that was only the beginning, as each Guardian leaped down from Silva’s back and landed at different sides of the capital, so did Dawn, Callan, and Fang.

Drake landed on the ground. The humans were panicking, running around, trying to find a way to be safe from the fact that there was a dragon above them.

Their panic and confusion made them unable to see the vampire that stood there. He raised his hands into the air, and a huge ball of pure blood started forming above his head.

It got so large that the size created a massive shadow that made everyone around there notice it. They froze, looking at the massive ball of blood.

They didn’t understand what was happening—first a dragon, and now blood floating above them. Their curiosity got the better of them, and they stared at the blood rather than run.

All of a sudden, the orb changed into small spikes of blood, all one foot long and floating in the sky, ready to fire and rip through all of them.

“Master has always been merciful, carrying humans along despite the fact that they are the scorn of this world, but now, no more—you all die,” Drake said in a cold tone and fired all the blood spikes in all directions.

It was at this point that the people knew that this was a terrible thing. They all started trying to run, but the blood spikes were too fast. They stabbed into people, stretching dozens of kilometers away, littering the floor with bodies of the old, young, and all.

The spikes didn’t kill all the people they stabbed, though, so Drake raised his hands again and conjured a bigger blood ball, then started firing it again. This time, the attacks killed the people.

The ground was littered with dead bodies, and blood painted the floor. Drake looked at this, created a blood sword, and started walking through the bodies like they were nothing.

The smell of blood wafted into his nose. His eyes glowed a subtle red, and a smirk formed on his face. He raised his hand as he walked, and the blood on the ground gathered together and created a massive sword above his head.

He looked far into the distance, seeing the castle that was standing there. “I should announce to them that we have arrived,” Drake said and then shot the blood sword toward the castle with so much speed that when it hit the walls of the castle, it destroyed one wing of the castle.

A few minutes after the attack started in the capital, the army of Ronan was mobilized to fight. They moved out in their numbers, searching for the threat that had come to face them.

Another group of mages that studied explosive spells gathered at the tallest tower of the castle, ready to attack the dragon that was flying above.

The eldest mage in the castle watched through the space there, looking at Silva flying around the capital. The man was very old, with a long white beard and a bald head.

He started giving out instructions to the mages there. “You all have already been trained in this. Now your training is needed. We might only get one chance at taking the dragon down. If we fail, we might as well kiss our lives goodbye.

“You must all hold your hands and conjure the spell to call Heaven’s Tribulation—the chaos-level spell that has no element. I will be the conduit for the spell, and it will be channeled through me.

“You can’t get the words wrong, or we might end up killing ourselves,” the man said. He walked to the center of the mages, and they held their hands around him.

All of them closed their eyes and started chanting one spell in unison. The spell they were trying to cast was a chaos-level spell, and so one person would be far from enough to cast it.

The spell was taught to all the best mages in case a time came when they needed to use it—a time like this.

The old mage at the center had his eyes closed, and then suddenly, there was a strong force that caused his mind to twist and turn until he could see the outside of the castle and the capital.

It was the effect of the chaos spell Heaven’s Tribulation—he could see from above and choose his target.

He looked down and saw Silva flying around, and Silva became his target. He started chanting his side of the spell as well, ready to finish it and end it.

Silva was flying around when he noticed that the skies had begun to rumble—it was shaking.

He looked up, and with dragon eyes, he noticed a massive amount of energy forming in the sky. He immediately knew that something was about to happen.

So, immediately, he summoned his clones. The ten of them appeared, and in one swift motion, they all cut their arms and let blood seep out, then they summoned Hell’s Gate.

A massive gate formed in the sky and opened, and in that instant, a massive golden beam shot from the sky, so bright and powerful, but the gate was there to block it. The beam shot into the gate—the gate trembled but didn’t shatter.

The gate took all the golden beam, and the skies returned to how they were before. Silva unsummoned his clones, then turned his eyes to look at the tallest tower of the castle
