Chapter 1758: 1615: The Blossoming of the Ancestor of Good and EvilChapter 1758: Chapter 1615: The Blossoming of the Ancestor of Good and Evil
Yu Suo’s hair grew longer and thicker, resembling blossoming flower vines. The tiny flower whiskers affixed to Chu Mu’s skin, as though they were absorbing something.
Chu Mu didn’t pay attention to them, remaining focused on channeling all the energy from the Divine Dew into Yu Suo’s soul.
A rich fragrance emanated from Yu Suo’s body, filling the Era Hall with an inexplicable bloom of blue-and-crimson Good and Evil Flowers. These flowers appeared like faces, swaying with life throughout the great hall.
Countless flower vines unfurled from Yu Suo as the center, slowly extending outward to wrap around the hall’s columns, covering the walls and ceiling.
The vines intertwined densely, crisscrossing until the entire Era Hall was engulfed by greenery, appearing as though transformed into a house made entirely of plants.
One after another, the Good and Evil Flowers blossomed, layer upon layer, forming an extraordinary, vibrant flower blanket.
The intoxicating fragrance permeated the air, so beguiling it induced a state of dreamy forgetfulness.
Chu Mu opened his eyes and, upon witnessing the breathtaking, surreal scene, his face displayed an expression of astonishment.
All the flowers, vines, and drifting particles were centered around Yu Suo, as if each lively spirit of these blooms was clustered around their queen.
Yu Suo’s hair spilled loose like a witch’s, her snow-white face smooth as ice and adorned with stunningly crimson lips.
Her eyes remained closed, her long eyelashes a delicate shade of violet, the shadows beneath them lending her an air of seductive wickedness.
Chu Mu stared at Yu Suo, his heart struck with alarm.
Under normal circumstances, Yu Suo exuded an aura of sanctity and elegance—her minimalist appearance, devoid of extravagant adornments, was enough to inspire unrivaled awe.
Yet, in the blink of an eye, this woman had transformed from an immaculate saint into a ravenous witch who devoured without leaving a trace!
The allure of her crimson lips, the wildness of her hair, and her seemingly innocent face carried an immense temptation cloaked in an undercurrent of danger.
At this moment, Chu Mu could distinctly feel Yu Suo’s soul ascending. Her ascension also brought a small enhancement to Chu Mu’s soul.
Yet, inexplicably, the soul of the Tenth-Rank Good and Evil Queen exerted a faint yet invasive pressure on Chu Mu, like a magnificent bloom secretly holding venom, with its poisonous flower stingers perpetually aimed at his heart, poised to end his life unnoticed.
It was clear that Yu Suo had successfully ascended to the Tenth Rank.
Time seemed to blur before Yu Suo finally opened her eyes.
Those mesmerizing eyes now shimmered not with their usual violet glow but with a seductive and terrifying scarlet hue. As her gaze met Chu Mu’s, he felt a current of electricity burst into the depths of his heart, stirring his thoughts into chaos and leaving him momentarily disoriented!
“Why are you using mental techniques on me?!” Chu Mu demanded with dissatisfaction.
“I didn’t,” Yu Suo replied calmly.
“Did it succeed?” Chu Mu asked.
Yu Suo extended her hands. Her hands were no longer covered with human-like skin, but petals resembling scales, delicate and exceptional.
She blew lightly on herself, and instantly, those petal-like scales shed from her body, revealing smooth, baby-soft skin underneath—skin so tenderly exquisite it evoked an urge to sink one’s teeth into.
The petals cascaded down, giving the impression that something new and vibrant was being born amongst the countless blooms.
Chu Mu stared at her, momentarily dazed.
Yu Suo, too, realized the shedding of petals had also stripped her bare, her flushed indignation prompting her to angrily tell Chu Mu, “Turn around!”
At this moment, she had shed her floral attire, akin to stepping into a rebirth. She now resembled how Chu Mu found her at the beginning—a complete metamorphosis leaving her skin as clean and flawless as jade.
Of course, compared to before, she was no longer a young maiden, and her combined sanctity and allure could drive any man mad.
Chu Mu parted his lips, briefly stunned. He likely thought Yu Suo was trying to captivate him with a maneuver like this, only to realize she had merely undergone a profound transformation and cleansing.
Still, Chu Mu didn’t turn away. Not because he was fixated on Yu Suo’s beauty, but because her hair-turned-flower-whiskers had bound him tightly, rendering him incapable of movement.
“Why are you clinging onto me like this?!” Chu Mu sensed something off.
Her dangerously enticing fragrance overwhelmed him, coupled with her nearly sitting on him and her hair’s persistent refusal to let him go. How could Chu Mu not suspect Yu Suo had ulterior motives toward him?
“I… I don’t know either,” Yu Suo replied, inexplicably unaware of why her hair had completely wrapped itself around Chu Mu.
What’s more, the eerie reality was that her hair seemed entirely beyond her control, fixating on Chu Mu as though attempting to extract something from him.
“Ah!” Suddenly, Yu Suo shrieked as if remembering something, her complexion pale!
“What is your problem? Quit startling me!” Chu Mu said, irritated.
Yu Suo’s hair had entwined his neck, limbs, and waist, leaving him with no chance to struggle free.
“Quick, burn my hair off!” Yu Suo, forgetting her nakedness, clutched Chu Mu’s hand urgently, nearly losing control of her emotions.
Chu Mu disliked this confinement as well, so he began chanting a spell.
Black flames and white flames flared simultaneously, spreading rapidly onto Yu Suo’s willow-like hair.
Ordinarily, Chu Mu’s Demon Flame would have been enough to destroy things like this effortlessly. However, through the cleansing of the Divine Dew, Yu Suo had developed significant resistance to fire. Coupled with her now higher rank, Chu Mu’s flames failed to incinerate her binding hair.
“Burning it won’t work,” Chu Mu remarked.
Yu Suo’s face grew increasingly ashen, as though she realized her end was near.
“What’s happening?” Chu Mu questioned in confusion.
Yu Suo remained silent.
Chu Mu gave her a light tap, asking, “Are you ignoring me?”
“Don’t touch me!!” Yu Suo suddenly pulled back. However, her extended hair remained firmly wrapped around Chu Mu, and her retreat only dragged him closer toward her.
“I didn’t touch you—it’s your devilish hair…” Chu Mu was about to attempt retracting Yu Suo into the Soul Pet Space when he suddenly felt an inexplicable sense of heat against his skin.
That strange sensation originated from the spots where Yu Suo’s hair was wrapped around him, spreading steadily from his flesh to his body, permeating him entirely!!
“What… what are you doing?!” Chu Mu gasped at the anomaly, his face filled with alarm as he stared at Yu Suo.
Yu Suo didn’t respond but instead met his gaze with furious eyes.
“Young Master, it’s the Good and Evil Flower King,” Master Li’s voice drifted over.
“What’s going on?” Chu Mu felt his body growing increasingly erratic, as though some fiery feral beast were about to burst forth from within.
“The Ancestral Good and Evil Flower, upon advancing to the Tenth Rank, instinctively enters its reproduction phase. If there’s no suitable male nearby, it will spontaneously create a derivative flower, which will rank lower than the Ancestral Good and Evil Flower—similar to the split reproduction of the Azure Sky Hidden Dragon. However, if an appropriate male is within range, the Ancestral Good and Evil Flower will extract its essence to cultivate a stronger next generation,” Master Li explained.
Chu Mu was stunned, staring at Yu Suo in disbelief.
Yu Suo’s face had frozen into an icy expression. She replied coldly, “That’s correct.”
“Are you insane?! Let me go now, or I’ll burn your flower pistil to ashes,” Chu Mu warned.
“Burn it. I’d rather die than do anything with you!” Yu Suo held firm, her tone laced with defiance.
“Young Master, this is presumably an innate pheromonal instinct of the Ancestral Good and Evil Flower. She can’t control it. Both of you are of the Abnormal Human type, so your compatibility rate is high—quite suitable…” Master Li, ever shameless, hopped out of Chu Mu’s Space Ring, feigning avoidance.
Watching Master Li depart, Chu Mu’s expression grew darker.
At this point, Chu Mu felt the flower whiskers madly injecting Burning Body Nectar into him. With Yu Suo almost impossibly close, no matter his resilience, the wrathful pheromone surge from the Ancestral Good and Evil Flower aimed at his body was eroding his rationality.
“Why are you doing this?!” Chu Mu demanded angrily.
Yu Suo was equally furious. “You think this is what I want? How the hell was I supposed to know that when the Good and Evil Flower ascended to the Tenth Rank, it would lose control and start reproducing?!”
“Truly incomprehensible primitive biology,” Chu Mu muttered in frustration.
Over time, Chu Mu had begun to let go of old grievances regarding Yu Suo’s betrayal, no longer being excessively hung up on the matter. But that didn’t mean he had developed any positive feelings toward her. Even if he were bewitched by this woman to the point of losing control, it would still be infinitely better than succumbing to this nonsensical reproduction ritual!
“Burn my flower pistil.” Yu Suo’s face was lifeless.
She understood the Ancestral Good and Evil Flower required this ritual, her body serving as the medium, with the constructed life being nurtured within her.
But never in her wildest imagination had she anticipated the Ancestral Good and Evil Flower would select Chu Mu—this man she loathed as its most compatible match!
After all, Chu Mu shared the same Abnormal Human type and bore the Black Nightmare Demon bloodline, inherently matching Yu Suo’s Good and Evil Queen. His dominance and aberrant traits were qualities the Good and Evil Flower had never possessed, making him the ideal candidate.
However, Yu Suo’s perspective was clear: she would rather burn to death than entangle herself with him!
“Are you certain? That’s your heart. If you destroy it, you’ll die,” Chu Mu said, feeling his consciousness slipping further.
“Burn it. Torch my soul alongside it,” Yu Suo decisively stated. “Never again will I have to see your detestable face!”
“Alright, goodbye then.” Chu Mu had no intention of going along with this absurd scenario. Since Yu Suo seemed adamant about dying, he wouldn’t stop her.
“I don’t want to see you in the next life either.”
“I’ll help you accomplish what you wish to do,” Chu Mu replied.
Yu Suo hesitated, her expression momentarily dazed before finally saying to Chu Mu, “Thank you.”
“You’re welcome.” (To be continued. If you enjoy this work, please visit Qidian () to cast your recommendation and monthly votes. Your support is my greatest motivation. Mobile users, please visit m. for reading.)
