After just several minutes, both Aella and Mira were sprawled on the bed, exhausted to the bones and unable to move an inch. Kali approached and asked, “So? How was it?”
Aella only shifted her eyes and looked at her, “I’m not a fan. I’ll try to talk Isdis against it.”
“Yeah.” Mira added, “Can’t relax.”
Kali smiled and looked around, her gaze stopping at Arad. “Then, I’ll take the one left. We should be back shortly, so don’t worry about us.”
Aella looked at Arad, “Yeah, one here, one at Alina, and one at Croc, still got one left.”
Arad waved his hand, and a second incarnation of himself appeared. Kali pulled the incarnation to her and then snatched Diana and Isabelle as well, “We’ll be going. Sadly, this place is a bit too fragile.” Then, in the blink of an eye, she disappeared with them.
The half-angel maids looked at Aella, and she just waved her hand, “Don’t worry about it. Arad can be in many places at once. They’ll be back soon.”
Jina shook her head and rushed in to clean Arad while the other maids started cleaning Aella and Mira. Their night had just begun, and the two of them weren’t going to stop. It just didn’t feel right for them to relax and let loose with relative strangers around, mainly Isabelle and Diana. The half-angel maids were just that, maids.
When Arad opened his eyes, he was in a vast golden hall surrounded by tens of demonic angels. Each one of them was more beautiful than the last, and they all prostrated themselves on the ground, bowing to Kali, who stood beside him.
Kali looked at Arad, “You’ve never been to a divine heaven before, right? This is my inner hall. You can call it my castle or throne room in the humans’ terms.” She walked around and reached the closest angel, “Beautiful ladies, aren’t they? I picked them all, especially for this day.”
Diana looked around with a pale face and wide-open eyes. “Harbingers of Destruction, all of them!”
Kali looked at her, “Those girls are the failed ones who couldn’t get strong enough to go to war. None of them is as powerful as you are.” Kali moved away from the angel and approached Arad, “Usually, no one is allowed here beside me. Those angels are fated to live here forever.” She looked around, waved her hand, and one of the angels approached.
She was a tall, thin woman with bright blue eyes and flowing brown hair. Her massive wings twitched as she stood before Kali. “Your orders.”
“My husband, Arad. That’s Creation, Isabelle, and the Harbinger over there is an overachiever who I took into my direct service.” She then leaned on her shoulder, “Treat them like me. Except for Creation, you can annoy her a bit.”
“Hey! At least help me until I regain enough power to build my own heaven.” Isabelle gasped, and Kali just shrugged, “You can argue with Diana over there. But…” she grabbed the angel by the neck and gently pulled her closer, whispering into her ear, “I heard you all talking some nasty rumors about me marrying someone useless. You better not make the same mistake again.” She let her go.
“Arad, feel free to do whatever you like with all the angels in this heaven. I’ll even make them summonable so you can call them to battle whenever you wish. Each of them is at least a Demon Lord level, and many specialize in different tasks.”
She looked again at the angel beside her, “This one here is a Charmer. She specializes in mind control.” Kali then pointed back, “That one over there, the blond one good with fire magic, and the one beside her is good with her hands.”
She then approached Arad, “But for today, you’ve only got me to play with, and those two.” She glanced at Diana and Isabelle.
The four of them headed deeper into the golden palace, soon reaching a massive room built from gold, silver, marble, and sprawling, demonic red plants.
“I almost never use this room.” Kali smiled, “Do you believe me if I said I never set foot here in the past decade?” She looked at the angels standing inside the room. “Those ladies over there are the room’s guards.”
Isabelle approached one of the angels, “How long you’ve been here? When was the last time Kali showed up?”
The angel replied with a calm voice. She didn’t even move an inch. “I’ve been standing guard here for a hundred fifty years and a few months. Her divinity didn’t come into this room for the past eleven years.”
Diana looked around the room and stopped by the massive pillow bed, “How long has it been since someone cleaned this place?” She looked at the bed and inspected it, only to realize it was spotless.
“Dirt, dust, and grim, they all don’t exist here. They all get destroyed.” Kali pulled Arad with her and dropped on the bed.
Isabelle jumped on the bed and dropped on it like a cannonball, “And I guess you brought us here since this place is durable enough to play a bit rough?” She looked at Arad, “I hate to say it, Arad, but I’m probably the softest one here. You’ll have to go all out on Kali and Diana, but for me, be a bit gentle.” She then turned toward Kali, “So, who goes first?”
Kali frowned, her six arms crossing, and her blue skin seemed to sparkle a bit, “Me, of course. After I’m done, you two can have some fun.” She then turned back to Arad and leaned on his chest, “Also, all the angels here are fair game. Think of them like the maids in the castle back at Alina. You’re my husband, meaning you’re the owner of this place as well, including them.” She looked at the angels standing guard around the room, “I guess you all understand this?”
All the angels chanted, “ALL HAIL THE DESTRUCTION LORD!”
Kali smiled and laid her head on Arad’s lap, “By the way, what are you doing now?”
“Aella and Mira in the half-angel kingdom, Merlin and Amber in Alina, Sena, Sara, and Betty in Alina. And you three here, in…”
Kali finished, “The Destruction Heaven, call it the Golden Palace.” She stretched and wrapped her six arms around his chest, “Let’s start. I’ve been waiting for so long.”
